SYNOPSIS

2011 was supposed to be Annabel’s year. So why is she here, sitting in a restaurant, being told by a thirteen-year-old that her boyfriend, Thomas, doesn’t want to see her anymore.

The small messenger is Wilbur. He has agreed to break the news as payment for borrowing Thomas’s tent. But dispensing with Annabel proves a bigger challenge than Wilbur had anticipated.

THE PROJECT

‘Lunch Date’ will be a ten minute short film shot on HD on location in London. We have an amazing young actor who is going to play the part of Wilbur (For those of you who were concerned that it was going to be played by Sasha – Do not worry!)

We are scheduled to shoot at the end of April, but we are $2162 short of the budget. So we really need your help!

The money you donate will go directly to the film: equipment rental (lights, lenses, dolly), transportation, production insurance, location fees, costumes, props, set dressing, post production (sound design and grading) and much more!

THE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS IN YOUR HEAD

What will happen with the film afterwards?

It will be sent to international film festivals, and will be used as part of a pitch package for Sasha’s feature film project, 'Another Anna'. Anyone who donates to the short will receive updates on the feature.

What happens if the money isn’t raised in time?

If we don't make $2162 before the deadline (the 20th of April), then we won't be able to make the film. That's the way Kickstarter works - it's all or nothing. So if we don't reach our goal in time, then we don't receive any money at all. No payment is taken from anyone. Our film won't get made. And lots of tears will be shed (mainly ours).
