I have to say the result of this Kickstarter is disappointing for me. I'm too waiting for the PC release as that was the reason I backed at the time. But for me that doesn't matter anymore as the game as-is is quite different than I imagined from your description and does not appeal to me. No extra lives/wrenches makes that you start the game all over and over again when you make a tiny mistake with the awkward touchscreen controls. And buying extra wrenches 10 cents each is just too expensive if you lose it after only a few seconds. So in its current state the game is not enjoyable to me. But getting a different game than expected is the risk of backing a game in concept stage on KickStarter so that is my loss.

What is really disappointing to me is that nothing has been done for the backers. The backers got the same game that everybody else can download for free from the app stores. Not even free extra wrenches to continue the game if you fall off the track again because you touched the screen at the wrong place again.

I'm not expecting a PC version anymore but if you are still planning that, drop the in-app purchases and provide just a normal number of "lives/wrenches" for each game just like the games had in the old days before in-app purchases ever existed.

Some of us are still waiting on that PC release...

    3. Matthew Smith on January 27, 2014

Still eagerly awaiting the next update.

    4. IKARIA Creator on November 3, 2013

@Steve -- that'll cost ya extra. Lol. On a more serious note, the fact that Unity Pro Windows is included as a part of Unity Pro does make things quite a bit easier. Unfortunately, supporting a new platform does mean having to develop a back end to work with their app store, the purchase of new test devices, etc. In other words time + $$. That being said, we will give it serious consideration once (cross your fingers) things are rolling on iOS and Android.

    5. Steve Bucci on November 3, 2013

Don't forget Unity 4.2 exports to Windows 8 and Windows Phone now. I'm hoping to see nstaCharge on my Windows Phone. It's great to hear things are going well. Good luck!

    6. Cooper Lee on November 2, 2013

Well, I almost forgot that I've pledged on this project already.
Almost 2 months passed through without any update...
      Is this still... alive?

    7. Mikito Kawasaki on September 11, 2013

@IKARIA I know things happen in life, and I know it takes a whole lot of effort and time to write a full blown update. But I also know that it only takes a minute to write "Sorry guys, we’re going to be late with the update because we’re busy *****" You make too many of those excuses and you loose creditability, true, but at least we know you haven't ran away. No update only makes us think that you’re gone for good.

    8. IKARIA Creator on September 11, 2013

@Jambv -- yes, now that we are full steam ahead, our updates will be more frequent. 1-2 months will probably make most sense at first. Visuals included :)

    9. Jambv on September 11, 2013

Thanks for the update. I think you should provide updates at most every 2 months (considering the last update was 5 months ago). Can you provide some visuals of the game assets. We don't need to see a finished game, we need to see progress.

    10. James Fox on September 10, 2013

I think me smells another fraud. Anyone know how to report these?

4 months and no update? I'm pretty certain that $14K is long gone and there won't be update. Too bad, because it's yet another one that turned me off on investing in KS projects ever again.

    12. sojourner on July 4, 2013

      Any chance of an update?

    13. Cooper Lee on June 15, 2013

It seem to be in silent mode for more than 2 months now...

    14. Paul Lopez on June 8, 2013

      whatever happened to this?

    15. T0mu
      on April 7, 2013

Whatever is going on in your "real life" (kidnapping/jailing/coma or alien abductions excluded)
to dedicate 5 minutes of your time, over a period of more than 5 months, doesn't look an impossible feat.
It's just a matter of basic social skills and politeness to update people that backed and believed you.

    16. IKARIA Creator on April 5, 2013

The project is alive and well, albeit progressing at a much slower rate than we anticipated due to realities of life and production. We'll post a full update this weekend.

Yeah, seems like vaporware, and with out the courtesy of additional pandering to the backers.

      no news,
no reply to any contact effort,
linked website is frozen at feb 2012.
      looks dead-dead-dead to me.
BTW: I won't sue anyone for 10$, but an apology is required...
maybe the 2 pledgers that funded 1,000 US$, if they really exist, won't be so carefree...

    21. Matt on January 31, 2013

      Any updates?

    22. IKARIA Creator on October 14, 2012

Please hang in there, everyone! :) We're doing great and the game is coming along -- albeit not at the pace we were initially hoping. We will be posting an extensive (and yes, long overdue) update within the next three days.

Wow, 69 new backers so far today and almost at $13k. Nice! :)

    27. IKARIA Creator on April 28, 2012

Matt -- we'll be exploring all options for delivering the game. For now, Steam is what we can promise, but we hope to make other venues available as well :)

    28. IKARIA Creator on April 28, 2012

Thank you, Porpoise! We really loved making the film. Now all this love will go in the game as well :)

    29. IKARIA Creator on April 28, 2012

Coco! -- we're already looking for a helmet for Loulee!! :)

    30. Matt on April 28, 2012

Hello Igor and Min, glad to have found this great little project after the redesign and congrats on meeting the funding goal. I was also very impressed with your work on Cloudy and GL. Is there any chance that the Mac version will be available without Steam?

    31. Porpoise Hork on April 28, 2012

Sweet. Loved the short film. Glad you guys made it!

All this joy, all these great comments -- Wow! -- what a great day to be alive!!
And yes, you're right on again, Robert -- we'll only have to spend half our time growing the produce in the garden now!

    34. Robert V Frazier on April 27, 2012

Yes! And still two days left to raise enough money for Igor & Min to buy food so they don't starve while bringing this great game to life! Seriously, looking forward to playing the game. Congratulations! And once again, Kickstarter proves to be effective for more than just raising millions of dollars to produce sequels to popular games.

    35. Anton Schneider-Michallek on April 27, 2012

It is sad that we just reached the goal not much extra, but anyway: CONGRATZ !!!!!
I am happy that i am a backer and the project has a chance now !

    44. Matthew Smith on April 27, 2012
