Some Articles From Around the Web on Planet Explorers

Posted by Pathea Games (Creator)

For some reason (PAX East, GDC), most of the major news sites have completely ignored us! But we're still at almost 46% now, thanks to everyone's hard work in spreading the word out! On Steam Greenlight, we're now sitting at #43 and climbing. But we really do need some exposure from the likes of IGN, Gamespot, Kotaku, Joystiq, 1UP, Polygon, Penny Arcade, Neogaf, Eurogamer, Reddit etc. So please do send them a nicely written email asking for them to take a look at PE on our behalf, or in the case of communities, make a post (but don't spam!) thanks!

Here are a collection of articles from around the web about Planet Explorers (thanks for the exposure guys!), now we can have quotable quotes from various media outlets in our next trailer like everyone else! Heh.

@Peter J. Kremer We've just been too busy the last few days writing up/testing the implementation of aliens vs astronauts (or as it's known in the office: "How the heck do we show 10 NPCs vs 20 aliens on screen at the same time inside a town the player built from scratch?!?!? And with strategy?! It's impossible!!! #DarthVader Noooooo!") The next few updates will have more ehh..stuff.

I love reading reviews, but I'm also too lazy to search them out on my own. Also, I've been playing and following this project since prior to the Kickstarter, so this isn't my usual, "ok, this looks cool. I'll see how it turns out next year," Kickstarter project.
So in short I appreciate the update, even if it isn't chock full of new content.

This is all well and good, but it really isn't much of an update. I understand that with as much on the table as you guys have, it's not easy to show more. That said, this is basically just saying "this is what some other people have said about it." Which, you know. Since there's a playable Alpha, isn't really saying much of anything. :/

Oh well. Here's hoping this is just a minor update, with a more substantial one to follow. Since a Google search would've provided this same information, I mean.
