What is the Best place in the world?
Karl and his friend Penny think:
That is a Silly question.
There are great things about Every place on earth!
Karl has been living his whole life in one single type of tree, eating only one type of leaf (a leaf that makes him sleepy all the time).
When he meets Penny, a world travelling Giraffe, they decide to embark on a journey to see, taste, and smell everything that the world has to offer.
The idea is to open kids' eyes to the world around them.
They will visit key cities, monuments, and natural wonders around the world.
The places will be portrayed in a fun, cartoonish way while still capturing the mood they emanate in real life.
It is created by two people who have walked jungle paths, biked 3000 year old city streets, eaten 150 year old pizza recipes, hiked up volcanoes, and swam on the coasts of six continents. Two travelers, musicians, artists, and writers.
Two people with one of the keys to a better future:
A message that says we are not all just isolated groups looking out for our own needs.
We are one big global community, looking out for each other.
The money will go to printing, illustrating, and getting the other rewards made. We truly believe in this project and would love to get our message out and inspire.
This first book will include travels in a few key places of Australia, and possibly some Asian and European cities. Eventually we would like to produce more books in the series and cover the whole world. If successful , we would like to move to an animated series.
If project funding well surpasses our goal to a point where Karl and Penny stuffed animals would be feasible, we will include a reward as such.
if you’re not sure how Kickstarter works, view their FAQ page.
Basically, you donate a given amount (for which you get a reward - i.e. a book). The rewards are listed to the right. If we reach our funding goal (which is the amount we have determined necessary to get the books and merchandise made) within the allotted time then we will receive the money and get to work to deliver your reward.
If the funding goal is not reached within the allotted time we get absolutely no money and you do not end up paying anything.
