Finally on the move

Hey folks,

We are happy to report that your Gridstones: Night Sky games will start to ship on Monday of next week. The whole process should take about two weeks.

Unfortunately, the communication with the factory has been very difficult and the quality of information we received was mostly inaccurate. We had several projects on the go with this factory, which may have led to the mix-ups. A very frustrating process, but we're moving past it and we're excited that the games are finally ready to ship.

We are really happy with the finished product and we think you will feel the same.

Thanks again for your patience,

Regards,

Fabio and the Gridstones gang

Jamie, Gary Lee, and 7 more people like this update.

@bigredgamer i receiving no such notification of shipping from CSE Games. Did this come thru from a specific vendor or fabio directly?

With all due consideration I respectfully observe that we have been scammed.

Yeah, as you say James, still no game, and no update for months :(
in all my kickstarting (34 successful backed projects) this is the only project who seems to have disappeared with our money

    8. James Horton on

Still no game. They must of took the money and ran....

i have reported this Kickstarter at the bottom of the page in hopes that KS will reach out to the Creator, I have also emailed them asking what the next step is to address the lack of communication as well. The only thing I can think at this point is to report the project and hope he decides at some point to provide any type of information.

Is there an update? I've received nothing, no confirmation number, no game, nada. Some information would be nice.

Nothing here either! How about another update as to the actual status of sending out the games?

Still nothing and no updates for over 2 months now
will someone please let us know what has happened to our games
not only is this late - it looks like it has dropped of the face of the earth
I thought Indiegogo was supposed to be for more mature projects which were unlikely to fail!

I really wish I could have my money back. This was estimated to ship in May when I backed it. This latest update was over a month ago and was supposed to take two weeks to ship everything out. Wondering if this is a scam.

I don't know that there's any point in an update being published tbh... they don't seem to have any relation to fact.

Based on your timeline everything should have shipped by now. Did that happen? Update please.

    28. Dennis E Crissman on

I don't believe it given the last two updates and total lack of clear communication.

    29. Ruth on

What whole process will take two weeks? Sending out 285 packages will take two weeks? Or we'll all have the games in two weeks?

It's a bit rich to hear you blaming the factory for bad communication, honestly.

Am feeling (foolishly?) hopeful that we might actually get our games now (in September? October?). But we'll see. I won't be totally surprised if we get another update in 5-6 weeks explaining how for reasons that are totally not your fault, it's not *quite* ready yet....

      This is exciting news!

Having said that a word of advice from someone who has never run a Kickstarter, but has backed just over 100: communicate more. I've back games that had a delay of a full year, but the creators communicated often; they shared their design process, their timeline and what stage we were in , their challenges, their frustrations, the details of working with the factory. Those Kickstarters rarely have people as concerned and frustrated as ones like this with little to no communication.

If you had shared the journey and viewed the backers as a community instead of just "pre-sales" (which is how I feel at least). I think you would have had a much better experience and people who would be more likely to back your future campaigns.

    31. Todd on

Can you explain how we have gone from games being shipped in a few days as of the 6/8/2018 update to the same statement for 9/6/18....this confuses me unless we are not being told something.

Also should we be expecting tracking emails or should the box just show up?

I appreciate the update but it seems to be rather lacking in over all information. This disappoints me as I have been apart of KS with horrid communication and ones with good communication and this one Is for sure on the negative side and really wish we could rate the creators for future projects.
