The stars have aligned!
We are happy to report that our production date is set and the games will be ready to ship soon.
Below is some of the updated artwork which includes the great photography featured on the Shooting Star Cards and rules.
We took your feedback into account and made some changes to the design of the Shooting Star Cards. They are less busy and we opened up space to show more of the sky images. Have a look below.
Big thanks to the Giffin family for recommending we name each of the Shooting Star Cards with fun space-y names - like Black Hole, Comet, Worm Hole, etc.
In case you missed our previous updates, here is a summary of some of the extra upgrades we’ve made to the game:
1) We are upgrading the velvet bag to an embroidered velvet bag with the Gridstones: Night Sky logo. We’ll have a photo for you in the next update.
2) We are adding spot UV to the box cover.
3) The game is bilingual, English and French. We enlisted the services of Fanny Havel, professional translator AND backer of the game.
We brought the game to Alan Moon’s Gathering of Friends last month. We were very happy with the response. Several of the industry trend-setters called the game “very elegant”, “slick” and “an enjoyable challenge”.
To speed up the shipping process, we are air-shipping copies of the game to North America and Europe, while other territories will ship straight from the factory.
This has turned into one of our best looking games and we’re all very proud and excited to get it to you.
Have a great weekend,
Fabio and the Gridstones gang
