The Powerlace P-One is a robust and revolutionary outdoor shoe offering a unique once-only adjustment system and dynamic balancing that adapts to the natural motion of your foot. Reliable over any type of outdoor terrain and suitable for everyday wear.
The lever unlocks the mechanism with the help of maximum strength nylon coated stainless steel wires.
The thermoplastic pullers allow to perform static and dynamic balancing that adapt continuously to the natural motion of the foot.
The TPU sole is non-marking, abrasion resistant and flex fatigue resistant.
The kevlar laces offer superior breaking strength of 250 lbs.
The lace lock allows to adjust the required tension of the laces.
Our team of rocket scientists have developed a revolutionary self-lacing system activated only by your body weight.
Just slide your foot in, adjust the tension once, and you’re set, forever. You’ll never have to bend down again.

In our quest to build the most innovative prototypes, we have gone through countless manufacturing processes including 3D designing, numerically controlled machining, plastic injection, thermoset, stitching and ultrasonic welding.
All stages of research and development have been conducted at our lab facilities in St-Hubert, Canada by our team of rocket scientists. And we are confident that our efforts will offer you the greatest self-lacing shoe experience.
Prototyping & Design
In my 15 years as a footwear designer I have never seen footwear include such sophisticated technical package. Creating a design to incorporate such a carefully hidden mechanized system so precisely with almost no margin for error was more like applying the automotive process to footwear.
For a small group of friends to achieve what so many giants in the industry have been attempting for years, shows just how much can be achieved in this world.
But what I think really sets Powerlace apart from other brands, is that like the automotive industry their innovation is ingenious, striking the perfect balance between simplicity, performance, reliability and industrialization.

The first portion of the money we raise will go to fund the production of more molds and machinery. The second portion will be used to expand our product range: women, kid's, safety, golf, running - and more.

Risks and challenges
We are fully aware that every Kickstarter project is confronted by its own share of risks. In this regard, we would like to tell you more about how we prepared our market entry.
Over the last year, we've been regularly travelling to China to undertake the production and testing of our tooling equipments. So many production challenges to overcome! Hopefully, we succeeded in harnessing all of our energy and resources to deal with the complexity of the manufacturing process, leaving the plant ready for the first production run.
And most importantly, we have worked hard over the last years to build up strong relationships with our partners to assure you the best quality possible and to hit all of our delivery deadlines.
