Build a big city in this tabletop game with lots of interaction. Plan carefully where to build, and watch your rivals!
Become an ambitious constructor, win public tenders, build all types of buildings and become rich by designing the city of your dreams. Dozens of tiles represent the buildable plots that will become a great city designed by each player. But, in Masterplan building the most doesn’t guarantee victory...

Have you ever dreamt of creating your own city? In Masterplan you will be a construction tycoon competing with other constructors to get the best plots of land in town. Create a city up to your standards, and make the best use of the city’s public services. Increase the value of your constructions by designing neighborhoods that suit your interests, and try to stop your rivals’ growth by crafting strategic urban plans.
Masterplan is a board game for 2 to 4 players with a medium complexity level, where you will compete to build the most profitable and efficient buildings of the city.
In addition to this, and just for those backing the campaign, the game will include a pack of EXCLUSIVE COMPONENTS.
Masterplan, Kickstarter edition, will include a set of cardboard buildings with stands, to set them vertically over their tiles. This will be done only for the starting public buildings (the ones that give special actions), so that not only will your games have a special touch, they will also have a visual aid to keep those actions located once the board is full with buildings.
Each game develops in a new district of the city that is now ready for construction. After acquiring strategically located plots of land, you must choose wisely what buildings to raise. You will need both money and workers for each construction.
In Masterplan you can build housing, shops, industry and corporations with different costs and profitability levels. Each building will give you benefits and Victory Points.
But pick your future buildings carefully, Masterplan has a realistic system of interaction between buildings, that will make them more or less profitable with every new nearby construction. Each building you raise affects all adjacent plots. Building a noisy factory next to a residential tower is not the best idea, unless that apartment building belongs to a rival constructor...
In Masterplan, you build to earn benefits that you will use to hire more workers for your new constructions. At the end of the game, your buildings will give you more Victory Points if they are in well-balanced neighborhoods, and surrounded by excellent public services.
The Administration is working hard to build different public services in each district. Because of this, your options will be different each time you play.
Public buildings are special constructions that provide unique actions and new interactions, which will help you develop your game strategy. As a business owner you’ll have to be smart and learn when to invest in public buildings to maximize your potential.
The City Council has promised to release new construction permits to improve the city. The new district boards, new tiles and the new public service tokens will bring different sensations to your game.
Two new buildings to maintain the good health of citizens ... while they open the doors to new strategies to earn points. In addition, a new scenario that uses these buildings will be available.
Every new neighborhood needs adequate means of transportation. We add two tiles of Subway lines that will increase the value of nearby buildings, and The Train Station, which allows to build railroad tracks through the city, which can change the course of the game, affecting the adjacencies of buildings.
The outskirts of the neighborhood are also important. We add another face to the perimeter pieces, as well as new tokens that are placed on top of it, providing a new way to configure new scenarios, and increase replayability.
To make sure that all constructors have the same business opportunities and chances for success, download the provisional rulebook here.
