The Darkness

The pledge amount is almost halfway as of this morning. We're totally thrilled that so many of you out there believe in the project and want to see it become a reality. We'll strive to be worthy of your faith and enthusiasm and make something that really kicks ass.

We have no comments for our project. Was it something we said? Can someone leave some random words of encouragement, just so we know it's not broken?

The internet has devoured my life, but I've become quite fond of it over the years. I think having a free and open system for global communication is essential to the kind of world I want to live in. That said, I've moded the campaign page as part of the global stop SOPA/PIPA day. If you don't know what this is, don't go looking it up on wikipedia, you won't be able to. Everything will be back to 'normal' on Thursday (unless SOPA passes, and then we're all doomed...)

Aaron from The Zed Word, the preeminent source of all things zombie, wrote a great article on our project. Thanks, Aaron!

And while we're on the media topic, a question: We'd love to get the project onto the Huffington Post Entertainment page - does anyone know someone we should be talking to?

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. - Margaret Mead

I'm seeing this with new eyes this week. Tell your friends, 'Like' us on facebook, and lets do this!

I came on board during (and because of) Felicia Day Day. I'm interested in what you make of this, and hope you get the full funding.

      Good luck!

io9 is what hipped me to the project. Loved the teaser, congrats on breaking 60%, and I can't wait to see the finished product.

I would think and would be good to talk to. I know one person who has submitted stores to PinkRayGun did a comedy low budget zombie searies called Mind My Brains Darling. It ws lower budget than yours. It was prouced underj HigletFilms. I helped fund that project as well (through other site though)

Don't Worry, it's not broken. Congrats on making it to the Half-way point! I am very excited by this project and the concept of using actual abandoned buildings in New York. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
