I’ve only had good service from GQ for games from smaller publishers.

@Ian Did GQ tell you that they'd been so overwhelmed with orders that they even had to relocate stock to new facilities for storage while they prioritised delivering CMON games? Because that's what the Rise to Nobility team were told early Jan and their games have only just started shipping now. So you'll be behind all of that and whatever else is backed up.

@Ian That seems to be how GQ operate. The other creators I'm backing all had the same assurances from GQ with confirmed shipping dates etc then nothing more and long, long delays after that. They also seem to be erratic in notification as one have I'm backing (Rise to Nobility) arrived in the UK some time back but had only just started arriving at some people's address today, some getting emails but others nothing.

Hi Ian, I'll move on 26th march and I'm not sure if I should change my shipping address. What do you think?

    5. Ian Schofield 2-time creator on February 13

      Hi @James Duffy & @Doctor Zaius
I have seen a couple of posts on Facebook recently about people receiving their monstrous cmon arrivals, I am only jealous as I have never backed one.

My dealings with Gamesquest thus far on my journey with them have been good and they are quite responsive via email, also they have not eluded to any delays in recent communications. So I can only hope that this will not be the case with Ravage and that they sort any backlog before it arrives with them. I will obviously keep backers up to speed on any delays if they occur.

GamesQuest is notorious for ignoring smaller publishers to placate to the big boys like CMON. I had a game sit in their warehouse for over a month because it kept getting pushed down the que to favor larger clients. I fully expect this to happen with this game sadly. It won't be Ian's fault, it will be the fault of GQ but there's no recourse for this. Once they have your game you at their mercy, and they have none.

    7. Ian Schofield 2-time creator on February 10

Hi @daniel the only person that received a copy prior to anyone else was me. All other copies are presently on the boat.
There are a few hand made prototypes I made prior to the Kickstarter floating around in the wilderness also.

I’m lost there’s an update about someone receiving a copy but I haven’t even heard anything about dispatch???

@Ian I'm not sure if you're aware, but GQ have currently held up pretty much every other game delivery they have in order to ship various CMON releases out even though they are early on their schedule. I've got a bunch of games being delayed by weeks to months due to this, with frustrated creators who keep getting promises from GQ which then fail to be fulfilled. Seems EU and US are the hardest hit in this.

So it gets to game quest co uk but it isnt' delivered yet? Cause I got a notice from game quest but it could be another project.

    13. Ian Schofield 2-time creator on February 5

Hi @Kemal I can't unfortunately give anyone firm date at the moment, as the games need to get into port and clear customs as well as get to GamesQuest. As a rough guide we are hoping for the beginning of March. But I will keep everyone updated as soon as I have more details.

      What date will ravage come?

    15. Ian Schofield 2-time creator on February 2

Hi @Winifried Mayr The design I posted is definitely for unsleeved cards.

I was about to see how big the stacks would be if I sleeved them but another backer posted in BGG about the sleeves he uses and talked about thick and thin sleeves :-(

So this could be a potential minefield as it may not fit your sleeves, I would say measure the correct number of cards for each stack and refer to the plans, I know there is wiggle room on the base tray for the standees if the cards came out further - (would need to move the wandering heroes into the bosses column as shown). I think you would definitely need to remove the dividers for the cards though. Any changes to the base has a knock on effect to the top tray which could be made smaller as you can see, there is presently no way to optimise the highlighted area on the top tray, but just re-arrange it to fit for example move the dice somewhere else.
Here is a link to a photo with a couple of notes on that:
      https://www.dropbox.com/s/kiib5hrgxsqppsy/Ravage_Sleeved_Foamcore_Notes.jpg…

I hope that helps, and post a picture of how you get on with it 8-)

@Ian thank you for your foamcore designs! Did you try if sleeves cards fit as well?
I would hate to build that thing and find out there is just slightly too little space for sleeved cards :)

Hi Ian, are we still looking at a Feb date for this? Is it possible to change the address for delivery? No big issue if I can't and certainly don't want to cause any problems, just would be helpful if it could be changed.
Look forward to this arriving for sure! :D

      Hi @daniel:
It should be for the first week in February so if you have completed your pledge manager then your order is locked (completed) so I can unlock your order if you would like and just confirm with you when the shipment comes into Gamesquest which address it needs to go to and lock it again. Would that be ok with you?

hey Ian. just curious if this is still on track to be shipped in December? i understand if it's not (this is far from my first Kickstarter so i know how these first time and/or independent campaigns can go).

out of all the Kickstarters i've backed and am waiting on this is up there on the list for "most anticipated." killer art and looks really solid. stoked.

Cheers from the grim, mid-westernern US.
