And done!

The Wound Markers are in and included free in pledges of Living Legend ($50) and up! You can add on additional sets for $5.

So let’s have a little sneaky look behind the curtain as to what’s coming next…

SPECIAL STRETCH GOAL BONUS! $354,998 – Ronaldo the Bard

Back in 2012, we launched our first Kickstarter project to fund new units and characters for Kings of War. 1500+ backers pledged $354,997 to the project, allowing us to make units like the Basilean Elohi, Goblin Mincer and more.

We want to give you a little Kickstarter Exclusive miniature to say thank you.

Ronnie Renton’s hatred of bards can only be matched by his loathing of Manchester United, and ever since the Dungeon Saga Kickstarter there have been cries for the bard to be added to our games.

And so, just as a little bit of fun for the last day, with Ronnie’s blessing, we will sculpt and produce a metal homage – Ronaldo the Bard, a troubadour and hero to inspire your troops, for any good, neutral or evil armies (even Ronnie has his bad days!)

Here's the man himself in action:

We will include this figure in all pledges of Living Legend ($50) for free. We’ll also make it available to add-on for $8.

After the wounds markers, something a bit bigger and mores serious for the Forces of the Abyss is coming…

NEW! Optional Add-on $365,000 – Abyssal Fiend

The Abyss is home to all manner or vile and wicked creatures, and fiends are no exception. While these bestial creatures vary wildly in shape, size and specific capabilities, they are united in being utterly lethal and terrifyingly evil. Champions amongst the forces of darkness, they are thankfully rarer than their smaller kin, and utterly terrifying to face in battle.

The Abyssal Fiend is a brutish monster, an elite, hard-hitting unit capable of immense feats of crushing strength or which can be upgraded to fly or use magic.

If we hit this stretch goal, we will produce the Abyssal Fiend – a monstrous prince of darkness that comes with wings, different weapons and head options to customise your figures.

With this model funded, you can add on to your pledge for $25.

Want it? Tell a friend, tell a neighbour! Lets get this baby smashed!

Ultimate Tyrant Pledges

I would like to see Ronnie cast with one arm in a static pose, and the other arm with different instrument options: the classic lute, along with at least one other sillier option like a ukelele, spoons, a concertina, or a tuba.

    2. Grovel on

I really like the big stompy legs, and would like to echo the call from an earlier poster for those wings to be cast in something other than metal. They will be a nightmare to maintain if made in metal unless there is a pretty deep groove designed into them.

I dunno, I LIKE those big stompy legs.

I know that people complain about Mantic's tendency toward tiny legs, but giving a demon gigantic hooves is not the answer. Please make them a bit more reasonably sized.

this agitates me. I would love the abyssal fiend but to add him will take my pledge up to $55 (succubi and lower abbysal add-ons) which means being in Aus, just by adding the one model it takes my shipping up $25... the same price as the model. So no Fiend for me :(

    6. Carl Hofferber on

Hahahaha In spanish the name is really fun Ronaldo el Bardo :-)

    7. Marcin AKA schizoferret on

I think a poll is in order for the instrument and head piece. I vote for ukulele and something italian with a huge feather.

yes, a typo. If not, just pledge living legend and add-on a mega starter for effectively the same result.

      Short question:
"We will include this figure in all pledges of Living Legend ($50) for free. We’ll also make it available to add-on for $8."

Only living legend? higher pledge levels will have to pay? That does seem like a typo to me, or am I wrong?

    9. Richard Heath aka Yith on

I just added for the abyssal fiend. :)

    10. Teskal Flink, Wereskunk on

Metal minis are a way to make few more sg's we could reach. And metal will make also high quality possible.

I thought we get with dungeon saga already ronnie the naked bard.

    12. Battle Kiwi on

I love metal, the weight makes each piece feel more valuable than plastic. :)
But yes placcy wings would be better for sure

I'm glad to see metal being used - and would love a metal Ronnie!

Really not a fan of restic.

    14. Christian Schlumpberger on

Nobody is asking for hard plastic. And yeah, restic is awful, but resin can be cast in small numbers without problems and hundreds of one man companies do it...

    15. Riven on

Please please please make those hooves smaller.

Metal is over cost effective, nowadays, for these smaller run models... Hard plastic is very expensive in comparison. I'm all for metal, especially when compared to restic.... Blah, restic is freaking annoying bad.

    17. Christian Schlumpberger on

What I don't get: Why not go with resin for models like the earth elemental and the abyssal fiend? Metal just doesn't make sense for such huge pieces. They'll be a nightmare to transport and keep together...

Mantic have proven that they can handle resin, so why use the inferior material?

    18. Darklord on

Personally I think it's a cool mini stretch! Love the Abyssal Fined concept to!

    19. Darklord on

Heh everyone moaned about Restic, now you get Metal and people still moan! :-P

I too would prefer even Restic to Metal.

YES! Ronnie the Bard! Mine will also get to play in Dungeon Saga :-)

Metal. Metal. Metal. Metal. I think I will just pass on this KS now.
