@Roeland - We'll probably be doing a "completist bundle" which will include all six :)
@Emery - The BOGOF will continue on the survey (when you can add additional funds if you want) but they won't be available when the game hits retail.
@John - Keep watching, it all depends on how high the stretch goals can go
@Zoatibix - It's a big part of their background, they don't like sending live warriors to the surface of a Deadzone if they can help it!
@Gavin - The Cyphers are remote controlled from orbit - the pilot is in a gravity harness and the suit mimics his movements. That's a bit difficult if the suit isn't humanoid in form!
@David - We shall see! All depends on funding.
@Jon - Jake's blog says it best! http://quirkworthy.com/2013/06/01/deadzone-designers-notes-the-other-solo-rules/
@Catlion - Oh, we've got plans :D
@Inigo - A Charge Glove is a piece of Cypher kit that lets them fire short bursts of energy, or stop enemy bullets in mid-air!
@Ieuan - You just need to increase the amount you pledge - then after the campaign we'll send you a survey asking how you want to spend that money on add-ons! If you're still stuck send us a message.
@Steve - Strike Team looked a *lot* different when it started! Here's the first pledge diagram: http://deadzonethegame.com/kickstarter/s150-pledge-v002.jpg
We've split our focus between reward level upgrades, terrain options and add-ons; nevertheless, over the course of the campaign we've done all of the following to Strike team!
- Added a heap of models to each faction starter - Enforcers went from 6 models to 13!
- Added a free fifth faction starter.
- Thrown in seven mercenaries, five plastic zombies and a DreadBall MVP!
- Increased terrain from 5 sprues to 9 (and increased the size of each sprue!)
And that's before you look at additional rules, downloads, the story compilation, and so on. And of course, there's still more to come!
I am pleased the kickstarter is going well for Mantic, but being brutal I joined to get as much as I could for myself.Since I joined many many objectives have been achieved but the optimum pack of Strike team has had very little free added to it.Ok a couple fo figures but the majority have been "buy this cheap" or pdf format which respectfully is like big deal.I look at the achievements to come and its the same story... a couple of figures IF x is achieved or boosters for more money
how about something extra other than another bill??? Solo cards and plastic counters seem a must not a very late chargeable item to something you have done very well on .
I love the strike pack and want extra enforcers but it seemed you have ground to a near stop at a time when the kickstarter is going faster than ever regarding meaningfull freebies, you wanted $50k youll end up with a million and you want me to pay extra if I want a decent achivement...
Forgive me if I'm being a bit dim, but for some reason I can't seem to increase anything over my pledge level? I fancy a couple of add ons but I can't only do the set pledge levels :-s
I am new to kick starter!
What is Warden with Charge Glove
At the rate we're going, I think it's entirely possible we'll hit $910K before the end of today!
Love the FF expansion, though I hope there will be an option for a squad of Valkyrs for Warpath.
I'm very excited about these.
@mantic how much are Oberon, Blaine and Wrath to buy as separate pledge add ons? They haven't been separately priced and I want them all :D
But not 'till after catbacca!
+1 to reb shark guys!
Yes, glorious FF motorcycle. Deadzone's ending with a bang.
Cypher Prime however could do with a little beefing up or the power to turn into a truck. Not sure about the Cypher Gravbike, front looks good, but I think it needs a seat.
Hoping we might get a few more female figures before the kickstarter ends, or at least more of that Reb Shark Guy.
Pretty lame SGs.... 1 free figure and no terrain for 90K? Come on... Didn't you say that you'll add more terrain sprues over time? (Sorry, I'm not interested in the game as such, I just want the terrain for Infinity and I'll use the minis as generic Sci-Fi stuff.)
@Jon: We are now funding a solo campaign. So a couple of scenarios. No rules.
Will it be possible to make up a team entirely of mercenaries?
@Mantic - maybe you can explain the differences between the solo rules we already funded and the solo zombie rules that are coming up? I'm a little confused, as I though "all things solo" had already been taken care of.
Haha, fething auto correct 'suspenders' should be *suspensors! ;)
I personally imagined an Asterian missile launcher to be like the missile pod on halo 3 (the one with target lock). I pictured it being carried at hip level and a target lock and suspenders making up for the carrying position. I don't know why but it feels strange for a robot to carry a weapon on their shoulder.
Still, it looks good as is- and that's what matters most, right? :)
@Fabio same situation of mine,
@DaveC since there's already a flying unit type on Asterians (the talons) i expect the role of the bike is different... maybe it can transport more than one cypher (seeing the platform width and lenght)
The Cypher Gravbike is brilliant! Nice the StarStrike variant, very good the vAlKIrRiA bike and the bossy Forge Guard with ML. All forgefathers have very nice poses, really like the Chief. +1 for walking (3 or 4 legs?) asterian drones. A bit unsure about the Cypher with shouder ML.... i would have expected external pods on the arms or back/shoulders. Or pods instead of one or both arms...
I'd second Gavin's suggestion that the Cypher Gravbike actually be the cypher and not have 1 riding on it as well. Thanks. Guess that's another $50 in the pot then :)
Up dates looking good, But still looking for the MECH.
Love the idea of a zombie slaughter campaign :D
But not too crazy about the vehicles tbh. I see my board as fairly 3-dimensional, and it doesn't feel like they fit in. Nonetheless, amazing concepts. I think the models for them will come out fantastic!
Also, I wanna say I'm a big fan of the Brokkr.
Damn Mantic ... I DID NOT WANTED THE ASTERIANS ... now I must have then too. Your evil knows no bounds... :)
Poverty... here I go...
Please tell me the original 4 factions will be getting LRV's???!!!
I guess I'll have to throw more foolish mercenaries from other factions into the warzone.
Oh well that's another $50 on this campaign; maybe the last $50 for this one. I can't think of anything I'll need after the Forge Father Booster Bundle. Go Mantic!
Looking great but I'd much rather the grav bike BE the cypher rather than having one riding it
The FF are unquestionably cool. GW take note. Space Dwarfs are cool if you don't give them a stupid name.
Asterians...I'm disappointed to see yet more robots. :0(
Oh, and a demolition expert makes me happy! It's not a goblin but he is short in stature! :-D
Must resist 3 BOGOF bundles! Damn I really am gonna be broke.
4 boosters and 2 bundles will have to do me. But enforcers and who... ?
Another great update mantic, I am surprised at $15K for zombie rules and $35K for a booster, but I'd that's what I costs then that's what it costs! I suppose you haven't funded any if the figures from these boosters yet, which explains it!
ps. Oberon is so bad ass it's not even funny! ;)
Keep it up.
And still no extra terrain spruces for Strike Team in sight.
Will the B1G1 Free on Booster Bundles last after the KS is over? IF so I will spend most of the $110 remains of my $400 on terrain and buy the booster bundles later on for $150 or so. If not I need to get the boosters now and skip the terrain until later. But I'd rather do it the other way since I could get the terrain in the first shipment.
Also that grav bike looks awesome!
@Mantic, can you do a booster pack for the 6 factions for 90 dollars as well? That would give us almost as much as the 4/3 reduction but it should remain ok for you.
My wallet is dreading these last 36 hours.
Can't wait until Dec now!
Looks like I am definitely getting 3 BOGO packages...
