About the book
THE WALLACE MYSTERY, the latest entry in Rick Geary’s Little Murder Library series, tells the story of one of Britain’s most famous and baffling unsolved murders. On the evening of January 20, 1931, Liverpool insurance agent William Wallace is called away from his home for a mysterious business appointment. He returns two hours later to find his wife, Julia, bludgeoned to death in their parlor. With few clues and no plausible suspects (and the murder weapon having vanished), the police at last arrest the husband. After a trial, he is exonerated, and the puzzle remains to this day. Raymond Chandler called this case, “The nonpareil of all murder mysteries.”
This book will be published in the same 6x9 full color, softcover format as our previous volume, 'Chester and Grace: The Adirondack Murder'.
