About this project
Fan response has been overwhelming for Rick's self-published projects and we hope this one will be no different. As a resident of Lincoln County, Rick is excited to bring the first ever true account of the death of Billy the Kid to a published graphic novel format. It is a 8 x 10", 60 page black and white hardcover graphic novel, slightly longer in page count and larger in size than Rick's previously published 'Elwell Enigma'. You can tell from the art pictured that Rick has another hit on his hands.
Funds raised with this campaign will go toward publication and shipping expenses associated with this book. Rick is a veteran of the comic and publishing industry for more than 35 years. His previous works continue to be strong sellers as he has been nominated for and won numerous industry awards, including a 2014 nomination for his latest graphic novel, 'The Madison Square Tragedy", published by NBM.
Stretch goal added! If we reach the $9,000 mark, we will include a full color bookmark with each book ordered. Below is the pencil art for the bookmark. We've also added a reward level to purchase the black and white line art.
