Very Sad News

Good evening JOEE backers,

It is with a very heavy heart that I have to report a long delay on the mold. Given the shear size of the JOEE mold, and the fact that this is the largest tool they have ever made, the machining of the unit is taking quite a bit longer then expected. It is going to take about 600 hours longer then projected. I will not receive the tool till January. This means shipping of the JOEE units will not make my Christmas deadline. If anyone has a change of address, please feel free to contact me at 303-507-6350. It would be great to talk to you and hopefully bring my spirits up. I am devastated to say the least. You an also email me at geneperkins72@comcast.net. I really appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Thanks

Gene and Caden

      Hey Gene!
You and Caden are doing great! As a backer of several campaigns I come to understand they rarely go as planned, and many time (such as this) its outside of your control! Don't sweat it, you're dong a great job keeping your backers informed and that goes a long way! Enjoy your holidays and don't let this get you down,
      Brad

Hi Gene and Caden - Sorry to hear about the delay with your mold. Molds like this are very expensive and mistakes can be very costly so totally go slow and focus on quality. You've totally got my support. As the Brits like to say, "Stay Calm, Carry On", we know how much you guys care about this project and so do your backers.

These things happen. I hope to get mine before camping season, next year. I was about to give you a note in the last couple weeks since I was in Denver on business and was going to invite you for a beer. Well, maybe in January. Have a Merry Christmas and keep your chin up!
