About this project
Editors/writers Ariel Gore & Jenny Forrester were talking...
See, Ariel grew up in '70s hippie California believing her home state would soon fall off into the sea and the only hope for survival was alien abduction. Jenny grew up in rural Colorado where folks armed themselves against the commies and prayed Jesus would see fit to bail them out of armageddon.
"Let's collect all those stories," one of them must have said. "All these crazy beautiful radical plans for the apocalypse."
Writers Derrick Jensen, Tomas Moniz, Dani Burlison, Vickie Fernandez and so many others offer stories from the left coast to Egypt, from the practical to the fantastic.
The result is The People's Apocalypse: Revelations, Plans, Signs, Visions, Cataclysms, Demons, Saviors...
The focus of this independently published book is on the beauty of these submissions. The book needs to be made real like the hopes and dreams of these authors who put words to living free and creative lives--off-the-grid and outside arbitrary constrictions. This book is stories and photos and a gorgeous cover; food for the soul, for the survivors.
You know you want to be a part of it...
