This fast-paced, casual dice game was designed for family fun. Will you emerge triumphant with a discovery hailed by all, or will you be left picking up the pieces when your lab explodes?
Players take turns rolling the dice, deciding whether to press on and re-roll the dice that scored for even higher rewards or collect the benefits immediately. Don't reach too far, though, or the dice that didn't score for you will accumulate in the waste pile and score against you. The byproducts of your research can even explode, obliterating your current work and draining your past progress.
Games last about 15 minutes. You can keep track of scores with pencil and paper, though I've also found poker chips convenient; neither is provided with the game. I've been playing a few games after lunch with my family for months now, and we still enjoy it.
The images above are prototypes from a small run of laser-engraved 16mm dice (standard size). This project is about bringing the game to a wider audience in an appealing form, which means making a mold for mass-producing the custom dice. The goal was chosen to fund the overhead costs of producing the mold, plus an initial run of dice and packaging.
Please select from the rewards and share this Kickstarter with all your gaming friends. Stretch goals are being finalized. Drop a note if you have suggestions.
Gamers not in the US should drop a note so I can investigate the feasibility of shipping to your location.

Risks and challenges
I'm keeping things simple with the basic game, requiring only the custom mold for the dice. The quality on the sample run was very high, and I expect the full production run to maintain the quality of the laser engraved prototype.
This is a second attempt to achieve funding; the previous attempt reached 75% of the goal.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
