Hello dear backers,

Already 3 weeks since the unsuccessful closing of Color Quest season 2 funded at 78%. It is time for me to come and give you some news.

Season 2 feedback

As you may have seen, the work and efforts involved were not enough to finance this second season. Beyond the disappointment, there are several lessons to be learned from this campaign. The main one being that the current structure of the project (financing mode, the "seasons" format, etc.) is not viable anymore.

We took 24 days to gather the same number of contributors as for the first season.

I will come back to this subject in details in the next logbook of January, especially through an interview with Xavier Mateos for Tellement Geek (So Geek) who had already done the Color Quest season 2 interview.

The main information is that we remain in a positive but realistic approach and are working on the next stage of the project.

Color Quest "all in" pledges

We are already working on the continuation with the members of the team (see below) and we will need to recover funds to cover the expenses of sculptures already engaged for the season 2 (Black Paint Basilisk by Stephan Nguyen and Doomed Matriarch by Valentin Zak) and development costs (cover illustration, video teaser, new illustrations, etc.).

To do so, I propose to you in very limited quantity a "All in" set at a special price: 250 € shipping included. This set includes the game Color Quest + the Khromaz add-on + the Girlz Blast add-on + 2 Koloss (one free) + a collector illustration.

Note: only 7 copies available of which 1 already reserved. You can reserve yours by contacting me at fluocraft [at] gmail [dot] com - Payment possible in January after Christmas holidays.

I should propose to you a second bundle with Season 1 miniatures at a special price next month.

Carving

Christophe is currently working on the final details of the Domesticated version of the Koloss :

Domesticated Koloss by Christophe Bauer - Work in Progress

Note the finesse of the textures, the face expression and the sum of details like the paint bucket or tattoos on the arms.

Christophe realizes here the masterpiece of Color Quest collection, a big thank you to him!

The Savage version (alternative head and arms) will begin in January 2018 for a delivery of both versions scheduled for April 2018.

I remind you that there is still time to order your copy (s) if it is not already done by contacting me at : fluocraft [at] gmail [dot] com

The next Color Quest project is already under development with Gaël Lannurien and Kevin de Castro for the illustrations section and Christophe Bauer, Stéphane Nguyen and Valentin Zak for the sculpture section.

This project will highlight the background and illustrations of Color Quest (Paint Brawl and Dark Threat too) but will also provide unpublished profiles of characters with the rules and the corresponding history.

The launch date of this new campaign is not yet fixed and will depend on the funds raised in the coming months but this will not happen before the next Spring.

I will give you more details about this project in the next logbook.
