Summer holidays are ending and like every month, I come to keep you informed of Color Quest progress and development.
This month of august was partly under the sign of printing of season 1 game elements and season 2 development with an advanced on character design and development of the next Kickstarter campaign teaser with ID2SON studio.
Note that we took a few holidays so the content of this logbook will be a little shorter than usual.
First of all, I still miss half of your surveys. I remind you that they are necessary to retrieve delivery informations (among other informations).

Christophe is currently finalizing "domesticated" version of the Koloss :
Carving of mounted Chief (delivered with this miniature) is also progressing. Pictures should be available in the next logbook.
Carving of the "savage" version will begin at the end of September.
Note: this is a provisional schedule. In case of delayed delivery of this miniature, we will take this second delivery to our charge.
Kevin is currently working on Season 2 characters.
While Mariana finalizes Season 2 cover illustration.
Following your advices (Facebook and Twitter surveys), the Color Quest logo has undergone a little evolution with the addition of colors: golem in blue (recall of the Color Warz logo), Kadamas in orange (recall of the FLUO Craft logo) and paint puddle in green (recall of the Kickstarter logo).
We are also considering integrating a new Illustrator / Character Designer to strengthen the team for the development of Season 3.
As you can see, since the elements have been sent in print, there will not be much more news about season 1 illustrations. The bulk of the graphic work is now on season 2 development (and other).
Game testing continues their progress and the game stabilizes.
I am currently working on a handicap system ("Heroes" square on Kadamas dices boards) to balance forces.
There are still some adjustments in game turn progress (best moment to use Kadamas dices) and some finishing setting on the special abilities of few characters. The addition of "passive" abilities such as the "avoid" rule has limited spamming on heroes.
Note: A downloadable version of the game rules should be available in the next logbook.
Game elements (box, boards parts, cards, tiles and game aids) were sent to the print worker. We should receive them in a few days.
The next "big thing" will be the drafting of game rules that will be sent to print worker in end of september.
In order to raise more funds for the development of season 2, I propose 10 "All-in" bundles until september.
There is no way to customize these limited pledges. They are composed of the following elements : Color Quest game set + Khromaz add-on + Girlz Blast add-on + 2 Koloss for 269€ (one free Koloss included), shipping cost included.
Payment will be made by Paypal.
The price is the same than during the campaign and quantities will be limited to 10 bundles that corresponds to Early Birds not taken during the campaign. Of course, these bundles will include Stretch Goals.
Important : shipping for these late pledges are scheduled for november (not october).

What do we know about Color Quest season 2 ?
- Stéphane Nguyen will sculpt Season 2 final boss (Black Paint Basilisk)
- new game elements (cards and tiles) will be available it will introduce a new caste : the "Dark" Kromaz
- It will take place between November 2017 and February 2018 (depending on late pledges success)
- Backers from season 1 that will join season 2 will receive an exclusive miniature for free with their season 2 parcel
- Valentin Zak will sculpt at least two models for this new season
- Ronin camp will receive massive reinforts
Production management is nearing completion. Most of the time available is devoted to game testing, drafting the rules and developing season 2. There is still a lot of work for the coming month but we are on time.
