Never received my Honey Badger sauce - just got the update but no sauce has been received.

Pleased to say that here in the UK a non-indigenous Badger landed on the doorstep yesterday !!
No BBQ at the ready I grabbed Sunday's roast beef from the fridge, cut a slice and covered it in Triple Strength - OMG !! It was one of those moments when you knew that the wait had been worthwhile :)
Excellent job guys, and thanks for the extra bottle - i'm off over to your site to see if theres' any more limited edition Triple strength...
The other night I grilled and sliced up a steak, smothered the slices in Honey Badger sauce, put a little mayo on the bun and had possibly the best steak sandwich ever. Seriously try it, simple but tasty. Considered putting some veggies on it but why ruin a good thing.
Tonight grilled up some chicken breasts and rolled 'em around in some HB sauce, also was delicious.
Daniel, Dave C, Pat, Jason ... we're really stoked to hear you're happy with your badgers. So much time and effort went in to it. It makes it more than worth it to hear from so many happy backers. If you're in SF this weekend, Chris and Paul will be in Dolores park on Saturday (06/01) cooking up $1 Badger Burgers for the masses. Come down!

got the sauce last week but didn't get a chance to try it until today.
basted some on chicken breasts and it turned out to be a crowd pleaser.
While I know I can't be as eloquent as Dave I must say that this sauce really kicked up my BBQ this last weekend. Completely worth the wait! Thanks guys I will be buying more when I finish my bottles.

The comment by Dave Gauer had me in stitches! Well done! I tried the sauce this weekend and was VERY impressed as well. From innovative packaging to a quality product, I see this project going places in a good way.
My wife and I had just settled down to eat some chicken nuggets. I was gripping a bottle of Sriracha and salivating at the thought of those little breaded goodies sliding down my throat when a strange shadow passed over our house. We have a skylight in the kitchen, so when the sun's healing rays were snuffed out, the whole place darkened like nightfall.
"What is this ill omen?" I cried.
"We have brought upon us the wrath of the Dark Ones!" said my wife as she sunk to her knees.
Then with a great crash and shattering of timbers, a giant fist plunged through our ceiling. Splinters and drywall dust rained upon our heads, momentarily blinding us.
I wiped my eyes clear just in time to see an enormous, hairless Caucasian hand releasing a cardboard box upon our ruined counter and then retract back up into the ceiling. The shadow drifted away and the light streamed back in, now far more intense, through the blue sky abyss in the roof.
I helped my wife to her feet and we stumbled over shattered ceiling joists and piles of insulation to the box. Taped to the surface of the box was a scrap of bright red paper. Embossed on its surface in a serif typeface was the following message:

Of course, neither of us had any idea what it meant. And we were too stunned to puzzle it out. So we simply opened the box. Nestled inside were four little bottles (you know where this is going now, don't you?). Each carried the fierce visage of a badger with a paw in mortal control of a cobra.
"I understand now," I said.
"Well, I don't!" screamed my wife. "I did not even know there were cobra strength sauces, let alone enormous hands that plunge from the sky through kitchen ceilings!" I could see the terror in her eyes.
"It's for the nugs," I said. But I could see it wasn't helping. So I uncapped one of the bottles and passed under her nose like a vial of smelling salts. "See? It's for the nugs!"
"Oh my God, that smells amazing," she said. And I could see the tension leaving her body.
"We must eat this now."
And we did. Oh yes, we did. We ate the nugs with that sweet and savory honey flavor and felt the cool blue flame of habanero at the backs of our throats. And then we conceived our second child.
I got my sauce a few days ago and tried it out with a couple different recipes and it tastes GREAT! Will definitely be ordering more and spreading the love. =)
I received my sauce two days ago! I love it! It's taste is so simple, yet unique. The habanero ignites at the last moment and provides such a pleasing burn, its cumulative effect as you keep eating is even more enjoyable! I can tell that I will savor each drop and be ordering more before I even finish what I have. Well done! I am thoroughly impressed!

Received mine today, used it on a salmon burger with avocado tonight. I was worried the spice might outshine the salmon, but it tasted GREAT! Really loving it so far, thanks for the extra bottle.

Hey guys, everything shipped out last week with some the week before. The majority of backers should be getting their sauce this week. Some should already have it!
I'm pretty sure they meant 5-10 Business days. That's a 2 week window and we're just starting the second week. I'm gonna check back on Thursday if I don't get it by then though.
Has anyone actually seen their order yet? Im in DC and havent seen anything yet. Should I give up hope?

Definitly thinking the same thing... but at the same time I like to see that the labs are taking this serious enough. I can only eat so much at a time, so don't want 11 bottles to go moldy while I enjoy 1 haha.

Guys, update coming soon. Full lab results due at the end of the week, the guys in white coats cannot be rushed, on track for the timeline we stated in the last main update.
I received my moldy package a month ago. When can I expect to receive a non-moldy package?
I agree, when can we expect our orders? It has been three weeks since your last update.
Decided after 3 weeks to try the opened bottle of sauce (The triple Strength that got on my shirt). Mine showed no signs of mold. Heck, it didn't even show signs of separation of the contents of the bottle. Put a bit of triple strength in my mouth and noticed a kick, but a bit lacking on sauciness. Not sure if it is because I didn't shake it. Tasted pretty decent, but can I ask one request? Up the heat? Maybe it's cause I took a small amount, but the heat feels a bit too low for me. Otherwise I'm hoping the new batch gets it's final testing done and sent out soon. I'm only brave enough to try this one bottle for now.
So what is the new estimated ship date?
so, i got mine a few weeks ago and it's been sitting on my counter. (i opened the package right after receiving the DO NOT CONSUME email...) Then you finally explained why we shouldn't consume them. I've been waiting looking for mold to grow on the top where the air bubble is inside the bottle but haven't seen it yet.
I know you said that about 3% of the bottles contain "natural airborne molds" but how dangerous is this? If it's naturally occurring in the air then what are the odds i already have this stuff floating around my house or my office? Could I pour the sauce into a pot, boil it to sterilize the sauce, (disinfect the bottles) and re-bottle it and it would be safe?
Don't get me wrong...I'm not about to take a risk when you said so strongly DO NOT CONSUME (good work getting the message across). I'm just super super excited to try this stuff. We've been waiting for many a month and having to wait another 2 months when it was within my grasp is heart-wrenching, especially if I could just boil the sauce to sterilize it. (of course, while waiting patiently for the official replacement).

Thanks guys for the comments, and the fun pics you are sending in, glad you love the shirts, our illustrator Karlie McCulloch did an amazing job for us. For all those that had t-shirts but didn't get a package, they will come with the fresh batch of sauce.
I hope can see from the updates that we are making good progress, and we will have this fresh batch to you all as soon as we can get the extra natural preservative through lab testing. The shelf life of 1 year will likely remain unchanged.
And as we mentioned in the updates, all backers will receive an extra bonus to reflect our gratitude for sticking with us. Can't wait to get it in your hands.
