The Children and families of DAPA

Dear Backers:

On Monday, April 18 the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments about President Obama’s Executive Action about Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA). In the course of making my trilogy of films about immigration, I have come to see the human face of this complicated topic.

My second film, ABRAZOS, tells the story of US citizen children who travel to Guatemala to meet their grandparents -- and sometimes their siblings -- for the first time. In light of the upcoming historical hearing I am making the 10-minutes version of ABRAZOS available at no charge.

Please feel free to share this information any way you deem appropriate.
