Homegrown, Radio, Sacred Heart Studios, More Musicians

There are 6 days left to raise the final $968 for this Kickstarter project.  I am writing to update you on a few things:

Homegrown

Homegrown Music Festival 2012 wraps up this weekend.  Evan Tepler and I will be playing a show TONIGHT, Saturday May 5th, at Sir Ben's.  Go to www.duluthhomegrown.com for ticket information and please check out as much of the amazing local live music as you can.

Radio

Evan Tepler and I will be on the live, local radio show Hometown Sounds today from 3-4pm on channel 850 AM.  Listen live or catch it online after the show.

Sacred Heart Studios

I will be recording this album "Six Strings of Peace & Sanity" at Sacred Heart Studios.  This facility is a nationally recognized recording studio with a large selection of vintage analog and modern digital equipment.

The magnificent acoustics of the buildings’ main sanctuary are complimented by some other truly creative and inspiring spaces to play in -- confessionals, choir loft, vestibule, altar, bell tower, and other rooms each with its own sound and ambience.  Check out the photo below to see the main santuary space.

Musicians

I've already mentioned that Evan Tepler and Tom Berrigan will be joining me on this album for recording.  I have been working this last week on a violinist/fiddler and a pianist.  I will be announcing them soon and at that time will give you some information on their backgrounds.

What do all of these updates mean?  This is going to be one AWESOME full sounding album.  Please continue to share this project with friends, family and strangers.  Thank you for all of your support and comments.  Much love, ~B
