Wrapping this up

Hey everyone.

I'll keep this brief.  I wanted so badly to turn this project into a tool to help people create stuff, but in the end I simply did not have what it takes to make it into a success.  I didn't realize how much more was involved other than simply designing a cool machine.

I'm wrapping up a contract this week.  Next week I'm devoting to getting the rest of the rewards finally out the door.  After everyone has what they pledged for, I'm mothballing this venture.  I might revisit it some time in the future, but for now I need to move on and focus on other things.

My apologies to all of you.  You all threw your support behind me, and I've let you down.  I'm going to do my best to make good by all of you.

Sincerely,

Judah

Combos Away!

I took the last of the driver/tablet stand combo rewards to the post office last night, so those should be arriving soon!

I have to say, and I'm sure I'm not alone in this, I am not happy with my progress.  I've started prototyping the vial boxes, and I think I'll be able to start producing them soon, but still.  It you want to hear some of my thoughts as to why this is, head over to my blog.

In the meantime, I hope to post some pictures of the latest vial box prototype soon!

More Rewards Away!

Yesterday I sent the rest of the tablet stands on their way.  The drivers were sent out a couple weeks ago; I would have posted an update, but I had wanted to post a video of how to open it first.... which never got finished.

However!  I have made a video that shows how to both use and assemble the folding tablet stands! You can see it here!

The combo sets should go out early next week.  I'll post another assembly video for the balisong drivers when they do.  With any luck, I'll also make a good instructional video on how to open them one-handed too.

Thanks again!

Judah

More rewards in the mail!

Yesterday I sent out the last of the ClueX4s and a few of the balisong drivers.  Today I'll finish assembling the drivers while I mill out more tablet stands.  I just sent out the tablet stand and combo surveys, so I should be able to ship those once I start getting those back.

Busy busy!

Still Chugging Away

Sorry it's been a while since my last update.

For the next couple of weeks I'm going to be working almost solely on making rewards.  In fact, I'll be shipping out a bunch of them tomorrow, as well as sending out more surveys for shipping info.

For now, back to assembling more balisong drivers!
