*I am a shitty artist so the art in this project isn't final and it's the reason there isn't a lot of art in the project*
Hey! My name is Mark and I am making a drinking card game. The name of the game is unknown yet!
Each player has three cards in his hand, decide wich player may begin. The player that begins draws a card (you draw a card each turn). You can only play 1 card when it is your turn.
The game is completed when all the cards are gone or no cards can be played!
The Cards: You have a few different type of cards.
- The drink a shot card: if you have this card you can give a random someone a shot! (10 cards in the game)
- The block a shot card: if you have this card you can block the drink a shot card so the one who gave the shot has to drink it himself (5 cards in the game)
- Feature cards: Last there are so called feature cards, each card has a rule or "feature" on it, i'll explain them below.
As you can see, the block a shot card is the only card you can use when it is not your turn, for every other card you want to use, you'll have to wait untill it's your turn.
I came up with this idea when I was playing a drinking game with some friends using normal play cards and I though by myself... isn't it more fun with cards designed for a drinking game and TADAAAHHH.... with a little bit of thinking and extra's I came up with the idea of this.
As you might see a lot of the rules are for standard drinking games but I added a few extra to make it more fun. I might even make more feature cards to make it more fun!
Why do I need the money? Well first of all, I am such a shitty artist, I want (read: need) to hire an artist to make some awesome art for the cards. Second I need money for the production of the cards. Maybe even make big deck boxes if the funding blows up? Who knows?? All I know is I can't make this game without your help!
The rewards speak for itself, you can either get 1 or 2 sets of the game, or even sets with shot glasses! Shipping sais no avaible shipping for now because I don't know how I am going to do that yet. That depends on if this project gets funded or not.
Risks and challenges
There are not a lot of risks regarding this funding. The creation of the cards isn't a big deal. The biggest risk might be the production, in case there is a lot of demand but the chance that will blow up is small. The only thing I need to look at is shipping, but that will not mean you won't get the cards!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
