Finally available for public access is this tarot deck and playing card set inspired by the fabled Tablets of Feline Arcana, unearthed decades ago and until now treasured as a closely guarded secret. The truth is finally out and you can access the arcane world and symbolism of a time when Humans and Cats walked as one.
The tarot deck is a traditional 78 card deck with the 22 major Arcana and the four suits. The Poker deck is a 54 card deck with all four suits and 2 jokers. All are intricately hand drawn in a traditional style replicating the originals. Learn to divine your future with cartomancy or simply use the poker style deck as playing cards. This is a Kickstarter only product, which will invariably increase in value over the years. You can also order prints for an additional 40€ each and the book explaining how to use the tablets, for 19€ extra to any pledge level.
The artwork and the supernatural
The artwork was meticulously and lovingly handdrawn by artist Arace Montero, and you can purchase prints of the original hand-inked drawings when you pledge. The playing card suits have been matched using the most universally accepted pairings of Spades to Swords, Clubs to Wands, Hearts to Cups and Diamonds to Pentacles.
It has long been known that cats have supernatural powers, able to detect major occurrences, sad and joyful events, pregnancies and deaths. Up until the discovery of the Tablets however this was only taken as a granted without any means to interpret their signs. Now however we have a deeper understanding of how the felines access the supernatural world, it is something we also all have within ourselves, and the Tablets of Feline Arcana are the vehicle to access said channels of communication.
You can also pledge for the book to learn in detail how to read the cards especially if you are new to cartomancy. You will discover how readings are personal and that you will develop your own style of reading the cards as you practice and learn to access the supernatural.
The cards will be printed on high quality 350gsm card with excellent finish. The artwork is already all completed and we need your pledges to reach the minimum number for production.
Collector´s Edition pledges are also available with a silver edging for the deck of cards.
Prints
You can order any one of the major arcana limited edition, numbered prints. Prints will be 210 x 149mm in Black on white artist paper. Please add 40€ for each print to your pledge.
The Book
If you are new to cartomancy or want to delve deeper into this mystic art make sure you order a pledge which includes the manual for dealing a spread and reading the meaning of each of the Tablets of Feline Arcana. The book is a 170 page book which gives the meaning of the cards, their meaning when reversed and an overview of the most common form of dealing a spread. The book is available with all pledge levels, just add 19€ to your pledge level.
Risques et défis
The Artwork is already all completed and samples have been produced so production should be fairly straightforward.
