      These guys are awful. I went to the Apple Store in Tampa yesterday and they had plenty of Zookas but I still don't have my orange one yet. It seems to me they found someone more important to sell to. I was told the orange one would arrive a month ago then I heard nothing. Has anyone thought about leaving them bad reviews on other sites so that maybe they will take us seriously. I don't have any other ideas.

      My (orange) ZOOKA still didn't arrive. After requesting per email they told me orang is out of stock. Would be great to be informed about that instead of requesting an answer.... Anyway, I still got no ZOOKA. So the support of Mr. Triato isn't as good as it should be!

      Now I'm reading about additional transport fees. Hopefully my ZOOKA will arrive in Germany without any additional fee. I have paid for international shipment already. So please please send me a ZOOKA!!!!!

      One thing I have to point out, Zooka is too heavy to put it on top of the MacBook Air.
      But works perfect with iPad.

      gentlemen...still no response !! Fedex will add interest to the amount owed if its not paid. I sent you the extra $20 for international shipping,the "one time" fee,as you put it. Please let me know whats going on. I backed this under the impression my zooka would be shipped to me in Canada for the extra $20.       Well, I *was* enjoying mine. One of them just won't turn on; plugged-in & the light doesn't come on even after several hours. It won't turn on whether or not it's plugged in. The other is still working, so far. They've had about the same amount of use -- though the one that is still working my actually have been used for some hours longer than the one that quit.
      I've tried with different chargers and both cords -- which all work with the one-still-working but not with the "quitter".
      Now what am I supposed to do about it??

      I'm loving my Zooka speakers -- but what's with the 'boop' sometimes, either while it's charging or if I've turned off my ipod but not the Zooka. I don't mean the 'pop' when connecting or dis-connecting. Any ideas?

      Hannah, not sure if you figured out your problem yet. After reading your post, I see you have the zooka turned on. You are correct in pushing the bluetooth button on the zooka as well. Im assuming you have turned on your bluetooth on your Ipad and Iphone. These are off by default. Once these are turned on, on the devices, connect to the Zooka device, allowing it to make a digital handshake so to speak. You should be all set now. If that still does not work, perhaps recharge the zooka completely. If that still doesn't do the trick, your S.O.L.

      OK, I am stumped. I wrote earlier. My Zooka has a blue light that goes on, I assume that means it is turned on. After that step I get nothing, No pairing with my IPad or IPhone, no sound except a Pop when I push Bluetooth so I assume it has sound. Why won't this pair with my IPad. I have other Bluetooth items that are paired and with no problems. Why won't this pair? Please advise.

      -smallest charging cable ive ever seen, but have others
      - build quality excellent. I'm not worried this thing will break, even if dropped from a table
      - sounds nice. Has enough volume to handle most situations I plan to use it in
      -also experience the weird pop, what is that?
      -also suggest making the kickstand elbow out of device ...also agree make it out of same carbon material. The removable kick stand I can see easily getting lost. At least thread the put away slot so it doesn't get lost. I also think it popping partially out takes away from some of the aesthetics . Will u offer replacements?
      - also agree volume should be integrated with device, but at least have some vol LEDs to know what vol the device is on.
      -suggest a little easier way to open box. Either side opening box, or pull tab or something. You have to jam our finger to slide the box open. Nice quality, just minor suggestion.

      Plan on using at the Niner tailgate next week and future tailgates . I'm not worried it will get thrashed like a plug in BT speaker I have now, and of course now I have a chargeable device. Woot!

      Got mine yesterday, have charged & tried them both out. No trouble pairing with my iPod Touch4 (and I've hardly ever done BT so it's not like I really knew what I was doing!) The green is a great match for the green case on my Touch, which will fit in the Zooka-slot with the case on (it's just a back cover, to give it "grippiness".) I like the grey, too -- very discreet-bankerish. :-)
      Looking forward to using this as my "living room stereo". I like having the device "over here by my chair" and the speaker "over there" or even "in the next room" and the sound is great. I put the Zooka up on full volume and control what I hear from the device.
      I need to be clear about the charging cord -- the one that comes-with really is too short to be able to keep it plugged in where I want it. So I need to get one like...which?? (I don't seem to have a bunch of spares around yet....)
      USB 2.0 A-Male to Mini-B or is it USB 2.0 A Male to Micro B
      It's hard to tell from the pictures and the terms are confusing me!
      (I'll be buying online so I can't "take the original to the store" to compare)

      I received my Zooka last week. Overall, I really love this product. I have used to to listen to music, watch NetFlix movies, and have even slid it onto the visor of my car and used is as a handsfree speakerphone for my iPhone. The audio quality is very good, and it certainly makes my iPad more useful! So far this is the best product I have backed on Kickstarter.

      I do agree however with a few comments made by other backers. The charging cord could stand to be a little longer, the blue LED light is very bright and is a bit distracting in a dark room (laying in bed watching a movie), and it would be nice if the iPad volume control or on-screen volume control could be used to control the Zooka. If this is not possible, it would be nice if the volume buttons on the bottom of the device were laid out on opposite ends of the Zooka so they were easier to distinguish in low light conditions.

      Mine arrived today... overall great product. My notes:

      - Packaging is great, the over sized outer box was unnecessary
      - Sound is surprisingly good for the size, though the pop when the speaker turns on and off is annoying
      - grabs onto latest iPad very well

      - cable is WAY to short, but I have a thousand longer ones, so no worries
      - lack of link between the volume buttons on the Zooka and the device is annoying, have to turn up both to get max sound
      - Kickstand is cheesy

      Overall the above are little things, I dig it!

      GREAT PRODUCT only minor nitpicks:
      Same issue with packing- brown box was a crushed mess, inside store shelf display box only minor dent in corner.

      Sound quality, build quality, design, case material all excellent. Charging cord is needlessly short, but irrelevant. I must have 10 other cords in a drawer somewhere.

      Nitpicks:
      - Volume control: does not seem to be Bluetooth enabled. iOs volume is independent of (and master to) Zooka volume, so to get max volume, iOs volume AND Zooka have to be all the way up. Changing Zooka volume does not change setting on IOs.
      - starting a track causes a loud click/pop. Output does not seem to be attenuated when the signal is initiated or interrupted.
      - kickstand accessory: could be better finish: paint, silicone, powdercoat, anodized aluminum would have all been nicer than zinc plate (it's not a shopping cart or chain link fence!). A quarter turn fastener or snap fit would be nicer than the threaded fitting. With the thread, why not use 1/4x20? It's standard on every camera, tripod and tons of "holder / stand" accessories.
      - documentation is sparse: included insert is ok for an international quick start guide, but a spec sheet, user guide with battery life, charging times etc would be nice. Also documentation of LED would be helpful. For example, flashing red when volume press is at max or min (nice feature). What happens when plugged in to charge, how is full charge indicated?
      - would be nice if the slot had a thicker section in the middle to accommodate iPhone. Could be used as a phone stand as well then.

      That's it! Minor stuff. Mine came charged enough to run several hours, so unboxing led to immediate gratification.

      Congrats to Patrick Triato + NEW, very well done Kickstarter. Jobs would smile ( but probably insist on only one button somehow)

      Ended up picking it up today. The sound quality is very good, and overall build quality is good also. I've just been using as a dancing stick around the house! Love it!
      My only gripe is that the blue LED is too bright. I have a feeling it will get annoying charging in the bedroom in the dark. Overall though I'm happy.

      Got mine! I had the same issue with the shipping box, but the package inside was unharmed. The Zooka itself is simply great.

      Unfortunately, it's mechanically incompatible with my MacBook Air 13" (the lid is too thin so there's no grip, and the Zooka is too heavy, pulling it down), but the sound quality is sooo much better…

      I agree with those who have pointed out that in reality it would be much easier to ship to Apple than to us. The main issue was the lack of communication. I have to go the FedEx depot in Melbourne, Australia tomorrow to collect it, can't wait to see how it turned out. At least it's not in the Apple stores here :)

      Got my zooka yesterday. Box it arrived in was pretty beat up. But the zooka packaging itself was very Apple-esque. Charging cord way too short. Virtually useless. Sound is quite nice. Did not get the color I asked for. Asked for black. Got blue. Oh well.

      Thought Id give my first, first impression- receipt and unboxing before its charged
      1) Shipment & packing- not good at all- in a box bigger than necessary- but not one shred of packing material- the shipping box was pretty bent up by the time fedex got done with it.
      I know at this point you wont be shipping yourselves and will be doing much of your business thru apple store, its apparent you rushed to get these out the door after you dissed your backers by sending after release to g-pop and had no packing material- maybe you ran out?
      2) The packaging is very nice and well constructed- helped during the shipment Im sure
      3) The feel of the carbon is quite nice.
      Overall I can deal with the delays, etc as I like to back small entrepreneurs over some multi-national firm sells in bulk to Walmart. Cant wait to listen to it and wont be bitter I couldnt get mine before my Dave Matthews Camping trip @ the Gorge.

      Received my Zooka yesterday!
      First Impressions - constructed very nicely, solid feel to speaker with some weight. Silicon texture is a nice touch for grip. Minimalistic instructions.
      Secondary Impressions - Sound quality is phenomenal, better than expected. You honestly have to hear this speaker yourself. Buttons are a little hard to push in, however, I actually appreciate this as they don't feel cheap, or have that feeling that they are fall out. Instructions not needed to operate, simplistic. Charging cord is short, although not a big deal for me. Connectivity of the bluetooth was seamless and quick. Battery life after charge lasted for at least 4 hours before I turned off manually. Metal stand that screws in speaker, is functional but not impressive. Be careful not to snap it off when screwed into Zooka. Metal stand slides in and out of it's storage holster far too easily.

      Final Impressions - Excellent product, you can tell a lot of time and thought went into the product. Glad I got in on this. My only concern now is if the Zooka breaks, we as Kickstarter backers will probably not get the same warranty as Apple customers will get. I am assuming we will be out of luck. Was
