This July and August, The Academy for New Musical Theatre is producing a brand new musical, A Ring in Brooklyn, for a six-week run at the NoHo Arts Center in North Hollywood. Please join us and help us make this production a reality (AND get discounted tickets to the first performances as well!).
We've raised ALMOST all of the $50,000 we need before opening night to cover the costs of costumes, actors, scenery, director, orchestrations and live band...but we need just a few dollars more. PLUS, we want to take this opportunity to FILL THE HOUSE the first two weekends, which is why we're giving you complimentary tickets for so many of the Kickstarter Rewards. We think this show is really special, and funny...so we're banking on the idea that if we pack the house the first two weekends, word of mouth will be so great that the rest of the run will start to sell out.
This show began as a 15-minute musical as part of ANMT's Core curriculum, and we have nurtured it through table readings, workshops, concerts...and now, it's show time!
Your support will help not only this production, but ANMT's vision of nurturing new musicals from page to stage. Will you help us out by pledging a small donation? You'll be contributing to the canon of works in America's unique art form: the musical!
