The purpose of this project is to fund a print run of A4 sized, numbered hex paper pads. The sheets will be litho printed with light grey (cool grey 5) 14mm tall hexes in a landscape format (giving 23 x 14 hexes per sheet). The pads will each have 25 sheets glued along one edge and be attached to a backing card. Other sizes of Square and Hex pads are already available from my webstore: www.squarehex.co.uk
There is just a single Stretch Goal for this campaign. If funding reaches £500 the pads will be upgraded with heavier 100gsm paper, and double-sided printing. The reverse sides of the sheets will be printed with the same size hexes in a portrait format.
Risks and challenges
This is my sixth Kickstarter project this year. All my past projects were delivered on or ahead of schedule. My golden rule when running a Kickstarter Campaign is to only launch a new project after all the rewards from the previous campaign have been dispatched.
For this project, I will be using the same printer as I did for my previous ones. My plan is to place the print order for the sheets the same day the funds hit my account, and to be mailing the printed pads out to backers 3 weeks later. If the project is very successful (over 200 backers), I will clear several full days in my schedule to ensure everything is mailed on time.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
