Hello! Welcome to the Kickstarter page for the new album, Multitudes.
You might be asking yourself why I'm doing this. The short answer is: music is my life. I feel compelled to write, perform, and record out of a burning necessity that I feel deep within me. This passion has taken me on a journey that both challenges and exhilarates me. And the further I've gotten, the more I see how music can affect other people. I spent many years in Boston playing in bands on the local scene, and I released three full-length albums along the way. Three years ago, I decided to move to Los Angeles in order to better develop my music career. I confess there have been disappointments along the way. But today I am more inspired and confident in my music and artistic direction than I have ever been. The next step is to release this album, and I want to ask for your support in this process. Because I cannot do this alone.
Kickstarter allows for a direct connection between me and you. A place where you can support this project without the meddling influence of a record label, a corporate manager, or any promotional noise or meaningless flim-flam from other outside interests. There's no middle man here. Just my dream for a new record and all of the work by the fabulously talented musicians who are making that dream come true. And all the support -- whether you choose to contribute, share the page, or just mention it to a friend -- it all directly impacts me and the other musicians involved in this project.
I want you to be a part of this process. Whether you've been a fan of my music since I started out or you just heard about me yesterday: I need you! (If you'd like to know more about me and the music please visit my website here.) Your support will mean the world to me. There are significant, specific expenses ahead for this project which include mastering, replication, and distribution. With your help, we can take this music further than I can on my own. Please note that, as with all Kickstarter campaigns, we must reach our funding goal in order to collect on any pledges. But that "all or nothing" approach makes sense to me, because that's how I'm living my life in music. When it comes to the art of music, it's all or nothing for me, too. I hope you'll consider supporting and sharing this project. Check out all the rewards we have! Thank you so much for your support!
Risks and challenges
The only production delays I can imagine will be with replication of the album on vinyl. Due to overwhelming demand, vinyl pressing has now become a process that takes several months. I ask for your patience in this regard.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
