My grandmother, Mama Chita, has been using a passed down recipe to create her beloved Chile de Arbol Salsa. The recipe has been in my family for over 100 years. The recipe has been given to me and I have now created the Salsa using only organic ingredients.
I take pride in every batch of Salsa I make for friends and family and am now ready to try and make a small business selling 1 jar of salsa at a time. The ultimate goal is to lease tent space at next years farmers market on Chicago's north side.
Each jar is sealed air tight to ensure freshness and quality. I've found the salsa does have a shelf life of about 3 months after opening (refrigerate).
