When you tilt your smartphone LeveTop collects instant vector data (including speed and direction) through it's onboard G-sensor. LeveTop receives this information via it’s specific WiFi frequency, the onboard computer will process it and then send orders to change the direction by changing the speed of each spinning propeller. How does LeveTop react to wind or rain?
LeveTop uses brushless motors so it’s much more powerful than regular drones. LeveTop is also designed symmetrically, which means it stabilizes much easier. All these together contribute to a better performance in wind. While LeveTop does work in light rain, it does not work in heavy rain.
What is the flight time for LeveTop?
The average tested flight time for LeveTop is 20 minutes, but the actual time would depend on its specific environment and weather.
What happens if the battery runs out/ the GPS connection is lost?
We have designed an early warning indicator when there is less than 3 minutes of remaining flight time. LeveTop can return safely when the GPS connection is lost, as its on-board computer stores the GPS coordinates where it took off.
Can I use a standard 2.4 GHz remote controller with LeveTop?
We have considered this option, but it is still best to use the App controller for simplicity and portability. Our App is well built for operating anything you want LeveTop to do.
Can I swap batteries easily?
Absolutely, open your LeveTop, unplug the empty battery, plug in the full one and you're back in flight.
Is it possible to purchase additional batteries with LeveTop?
Yes! Add $26 to your pledge for an additional 20 minutes of flight time. Each battery is 1500mAh.
What differentiates LeveTop from the other drones?
The current market is full of different kinds of drones, but most drones don't allow the average person to use and enjoy it. How long does it take to recharge the battery?
Charging a battery should take about two hours using the bundled charger. You can also use a high-power RC battery charger and charge in just 15 minutes.

What is the range on LeveTop?
With a smartphone control the range is 100m. The camera module will be able to record videos to an onboard Micro SD memory card up to this distance. Live streaming to your smartphone can be made up to 100m.
How fast can LeveTop travel?
Like any aircraft, LeveTop's maximum speed would depend on the forward airspeed. We use four brushless motors which are much more powerful than regular coreless motors. We'd estimate that to be around 33mph!
Where can I use it?
Either indoor or outdoor is ok.
Why is LeveTop’s camera better than other drone cameras?
The quality of a picture is determined mainly by each pixel size on image sensor chip. If the size of each pixel is big, the sensitivity of image sensor is high and noise of image signal is low. This means it can take a higher quality picture than a small pixel, even in a low light environment. Because of size limitations, cellphones usually use a very small image sensor and lens, approximately 1.0 - 1.2 micrometers, which is too small.
On the other hand, the size of each pixel in a professional SLR camera is 5 micrometers or bigger, hence why the picture is much better.
LeveTop uses a big image sensor, with each pixel size at 2.0 micrometers. We also use binning technology to combine 2*2 pixel to one pixel, so the new size of each pixel will become 4 micrometers! This way, LeveTop takes much better quality photos than any cellphone or any other regular drone.

Risks and challenges
Our biggest risk & challenge is getting our backers to know and understand LeveTop. LeveTop is the first drone of its kind since it is not a toy drone, nor can it be compared to a DJI. We hope the Kickstarter community sees LeveTop as the portable, affordable, fun drone with all the high tech features as well.
