My name is Renaud Roche, I am a freelance artist based in Paris and a long time Star Wars fan. A few weeks ago, I created an illustration dedicated to the legendary Luke Skywalker.
From the start, this piece was meant to become a poster, to be hanging on people walls. Today, I'd like to fulfill this idea by producing a limited edition of screen prints. The goal of this campaign is to finance the printing costs and supply my backers with exclusive art prints.
Every pledge of 50€ or more will be rewarded by a "Peace and Purpose" exclusive screen print, signed and numbered (maximum edition of 125 ex).
Size poster will be 45 x 60 cm (18 x 24") printed on fine art paper 250gr

ABOUT SCREEN PRINTING
Screen printing, also known as silk-screen or serigraphy, is an handcrafted printing technique that produces intense and opaque colors. It is a pledge of quality and longevity.
Graduated in Animated Filmmaking at GOBELINS L'école de l'image, I work now as a freelance illustrator, a concept artist, a storyboard artist, and a creative director.
For 15 years, I have been offering my skills in various customer venues: publishing, advertising, movie industry, events... I am used to shifting naturally between universes.
Alongside this activity, I co-founded Dcontract, a Parisian event agency known for its dynamism and creativity. I am currently writing an illustrated novel called La Mécanique de la Pomme.

Risks and challenges
Naturally, the final edition of screen prints will depend on the campaign success, but for practical reasons, I decided it will not exceed a number of 125.
Be aware the delays of production might be longer if we reach the maximum. Still, the goal is to ship the prints and rewards in June 2018.
Soon as the campaign is over, I will provide the backers with updates on the printing and shipping process.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
