Super Fancy Interchangeable Stamp Ring!
This super awesome extra rad project is for a ring that has an interchangeable rubber stamp / wooden insert. The stamps will come in a set of 3 in a fancy box! The rings will be cast in silver and brass.
The inserts are made to break in half. One side is a laser engraved wooden piece, the other side is a rubber stamp. Either side can be inserted in the ring. The stamp side can be used to stamp wax or to stamp with inks, the wood side is for every day wear!
The stamps can be used as little columns also! You don't need to insert them into the ring!
The stamps use magnets to hold the insert in place. There is a flat steel plate in the base of the ring, and the stamp pieces have small magnets to snap in. The stamp / wooden pieces as a column hold together using the magnets while they aren't in use in the ring.
These are the three initial stamp sets that will be available with the ring:
Funding will be used to cover the production of the rings. This will include mold-making and casting costs of 100 rings (50 bronze and 50 silver) and laser-cutting 150 stamp sets (50 of each style) and 100 boxes. All pieces of this project are made in the USA!
The rings will be sold through my website - www.crowdedteeth.com
