About this project
We are seeking $16,000 in funding to help us film the Pilot Episode of "ADVENTURE CAPITAL"
Inspired by Meredith Wilson's "The Music Man", Oliver Stone's "Wall Street", & the loyal Fan following of J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" Series
If you like Quidditch this project will be right up your alley.
When Hale Hill gets fired from his cushy Wall Street analyst job for reckless investing, his finances and reputation are thrown into jeopardy. But rather than seek employment with a new firm, Hale decides to forge his own path. His latest venture: Swindling a group of self-proclaimed Nerds who play SQUIMIG!
Squimig is a "magical" sport based on the popular "World of Warlox" fantasy novel series. Led by Team Captain Geryon, the Westside Warlox (Neak, Kalyke, Sajar, Anunnaki, Lise and Iamb), and other diehard nerds, live out their fandom casting spells and scoring goals in New York's Central Park. What Hale sees is a potential gold mine!
On the road to "legitimizing" Squimig as a Professional Sport, Hale and his business partner Rose have to navigate the complexities of Nerd Culture. Can they keep Team Warlox in line? Can they hope to stay unattached from these endearing Fanboys and Fangirls? Or will they manage to pull the wool over everyone's eyes and run with the profits? Only the dreaded Lord Nord knows for sure!
