In November of 2010 we launched The Hopefull Company and immediately became a game changer in the health and wellness field. We offer a product called The HopeFull Gift Pack which was developed to help children and adults who are having trouble eating due to illness, particularly cancer. The HopefULL Gift Pack offers people a way to prepare delicious, nutrient-dense meals packed with vitamins, protein and healthy calories in the form of a frozen whole food pop. Our company was inspired while helping a family friend who was having trouble eating while undergoing chemotherapy.
Due to the popularity that HopeFULL recipes had with parents (especially those with finicky eaters and children with sensory issues) we launched a new product line in December, 2011 called BellyFULLs, which is similar to the HopeFULL Gift Pack but with more adventurous and playful frozen whole food pop recipes designed to get children interested in (and eating!) whole foods. Our BellyFULL Recipes are perfect for children 9 months and older, and the “Kids Can” section of the recipe book offers children ages 4 years and up fun, safe ways to help their parents make them.
The BellyFULL Kit gives parents the tools they need to introduce whole foods to their children in a way that nurtures their curiosity for food and fosters a love of healthy eating. BellyFULLs are super easy to make, too - just shop, blend and freeze!
The BellyFULL Kit contains a custom mold, 20 healthy and unique BellyFULL Recipes (with instructions, photos, nutritional data and “Kids Can” section), 100 birch wood spoon sticks as well as an embroidered adjustable child-sized Chef's Hat. The recipe photos are fun and playful and feature silly graphics that kids love! The frozen pop's bright, natural colors paired with recipe names like "Applesauce-A-Saurus" and "Indigo My Tummy" get kids excited to try them. Just imagine your kids eating beets, kale and avocado on a regular basis! BellyFULL recipes can be eaten frozen on a stick, fresh from the blender as a smoothie or warmed like soup. (Not all recipes are sweet - some are savory! Mmmmm!)
Currently The BellyFULL Kit is sold on our company website, however, we would love to sell The BellyFULL Kit in retail stores as that would make them more accessible to everyone. In order to do that we need to have packaging designed and produced, and that costs tens of thousands of dollars which we unfortunately do not have. That’s why we need YOU! There is nothing else like The BellyFULL Kit on the market and it has amazing potential, but we need your help to bring this exciting new product to retail shelves.
We hope you find our donation incentives appealing - we believe you and the children in your lives will LOVE our products! Thank you so much for your support and generosity!
With Gratitude,
Jessica & Stephanie
NOTE: Why overfund this project? The more we raise, the better the packaging! PLUS, if we reach $100,000 we will be able to execute The BellyFULL of Goodness Challenge, an education program that we will make accessible to all US based elementary schools designed to introduce whole foods to young children in a creative and exciting way - through delicious frozen whole food pops!
