Where's my Open Utopia tote bag?
Dear Open Utopia Supporters,
By now I'm sure you're asking yourself: where is my Open Utopia tote bag (or coffee cup or book or poster)? Sure, there is no private property in Utopia, but still: I want one!
I'm working on it. Really. A death in the family derailed my plans this Summer, but designing and ordering Utopia schwag is on my things-to-do list from now till September. Those of you who are getting books will have to wait a bit longer until the book is published sometime in Fall, but that is underway too. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
In other Open Utopia news:
I've finished and assembled Creative Commons English translations of More's Utopia
My preface, introduction and footnotes to The Open Utopia are now done and will be loaded up to theopenutopia.org site as soon as it is re-designed.
I've hired the talented Matthew Willse of theCoup design to do the site redesign; he's set to start immediately.
I'm working with the Institute for the Future of the Book to release The Open Utopia as a test case for their new "Social Book" platform sometime this Fall.
And a whole bunch of other, exciting stuff.
I could not have done any of this without you so thanks again for your support.
Enjoy the summer, and onward toward Utopia!
