We are a start up creative team trying new things in VR. Creatively, the goal is to tell grown up stories with a strong point of view.
When we started experimenting with storytelling in a game engine, we we’re sure we were going to make our work public. But after showing our early work to friends and family, we decided to go to a few local events to get feedback. That feedback encouraged us to do this Kickstarter.
We’re doing this because we see a space we can fill in the VR ecosystem. The hardware is pretty incredible, and there are some amazing games and apps. But we haven’t seen anything like what we are trying to do with roomscale filmmaking.

Our goal with the VR demo wasn’t to deliver all of the polish of a final product. VR is still in it’s infancy, and we are still learning. The goal was to go crazy and experiment with everything we could think of. To push the bounderies and learn quickly. We’ve been iterating to find out what works and what doesn’t.
We spent several months just writing our pilot episode before we started prototyping in VR.

The idea is to bring the rich storytelling of great television dramas to the medium of virtual reality.
We’re wrapping the show in a social experience, so you can experience the show with friends or on your own.
We love gaming in VR, but for virtual reality to really take off it’s going to require a variety of content. Foreverse is a totally new concept for entertainment in VR. It’s not a game, it’s not a TV show. We’re calling it a Roomie; a room scale movie.
In Foreverse, detectives stumble onto evidence that objective reality might not be so real. Agent Jackson and his partner Stanton are sent in to capture Kevin, a non player entity who’s somehow become sentient. That discovery sets off a chain of events that threaten the existence of not just the virtual world, but objective reality as well. Ultimately, the show explores the possibility that perfecting our own simulation is humanity’s ultimate endgame. It’s “The X Files” meets “Ready Player One”.
“Foreverse” is a breakthrough new concept in cinematic entertainment. Developed for virtual reality headsets, viewers will be able to experience the show in “roomscale” VR.
For the first time, the audience will feel like they are inhabiting the same physical space as the characters. Being present as the adventure unfolds around you truly enhances the experience in ways we couldn’t have predicted.
The project was started in the spring of 2016 as an experiment among the small upstart creative team at Elixir VR. That has grown into a full fledged series project. The pilot episode footage is in pre alpha stage, and we’re going to continue to polish and refine the experience until it meets the community’s high expectations.
Our current plan is to produce 4 episodes as an event series for season 1. Our stretch goal is to expand to an 8 episode season. We think the world that we are developing is rich enough for several seasons of story telling. We already know where the story is headed. If you would like access to the pilot script, please contact us at our website.
