MEAT Pittsburgh is next? Furious about this. Given the connection between eating meat and climate change, wouldn't a program about vegetarian Pittsburgh be wiser? Why glorify meat-eating more than it already is. How can I get my money back?

Oh sigh! It is amazing how someone turns things personal.
This series includes the historical and it increasingly falls upon us to inform future
      generations of their heritage.

To Norma Bronder: I'm very sorry. We never intended to make anyone furious. If that's what the idea of a program called MEAT PITTSBURGH did to you, I apologize.

But I'm a bit baffled because in our video pitch for our Kickstarter (still viewable at Rickstarter.org) we proposed several possible topics, and MEAT PITTSBURGH was the first one. And it was also included in the text there within our Kickstarter proposal. I described the show--also still visible on the Kickstarter site--this way:

"MEAT PITTSBURGH: Now that our city is dotted with independent butcher shops, and world class restaurants where meats are being cured, and farmers with extraordinary reputations around the city are raising animals, it should be fascinating to find out more about Western Pennsylvania as a destination for carnivores. Obviously a vegetarian follow-up is a logical progression: BEET PITTSBURGH?"

We certainly didn't think this idea would be a surprise or a shock to anyone who supported our Kickstarter campaign. It's been there since the start.
