We had a good day today. As I write this, we're just over $86,500 or 76% of our goal. That's good. But still a ways and 14 days from the end. We've got to keep plugging away.

Thanks to everyone who's pledged a contribution. 933 backers so far! And double thanks to everyone who's shared our rickstarter.org address with friends, on Facebook & Twitter & Instagram. It's reassuring and kind.

But I also wanted to invite everyone to two upcoming events:

First, this Thursday, April 13, please head to Pipers Pub on the South Side for lunch or dinner and for some of your favorite libations! Drew Topping and the good folks there are going to donate 10% of the day's sales to our kickstarter campaign for NEBBY: RICK SEBAK'S TALES OF GREATER PITTSBURGH, and obviously more people could mean a bigger pledge from Pipers! If you've never eaten there, it's definitely worth checking out with a wide variety of great dishes, usually a splendid special, and all sorts of British bar foods. Good Scotch eggs. And the bar has maybe the city's best beer selections. And the array of whiskeys is amazing. Please join me there?

Then, on Saturday, April 15, the borough of Millvale is having Millvale Rickstarter Day with various businesses participating. I encourage you to come and experience some of the joys of Millvale firsthand!

You might consider starting the day at the Pamela's P&G Diner inside the Lincoln Pharmacy because Jennifer Cohen is pledging to back our Rickstarter by contributing the value of every Big Lincoln breakfast ordered that morning! It's a beautiful morning meal with 2 eggs, a choice of meats, their famous Lyonnaise potatoes, and two of their celebrated big, thin, crispy-edged pancakes. It's also a mighty, wonderful, delicious way to show your support for our project!

And after breakfast, I'm going to be wandering from place to place, from Jean-Marc's French Bakery to Yetters to Tupelo Honey Teas (where they will be premiering a new NEBBY tea blend!) to the Grant Bar for dinner (they open at 4) and pie! And any place else that'll let me hand out NEBBY pins and cards with the rickstarter.org address.

Join us please on Thursday at Pipers or on Saturday in Millville, or both!
