Have a question?
I'm not sure if any of your new Nebby programs will have anything on it but the big 100 year anniversary of the signing of the Pittsburgh Agreement is coming up next year and I think it would be a shame if you didn't do anything on it. The highest concentration of people with Slovak ancestry outside of Slovakia is in the Pittsburgh area, and with Slovaks having contributed so much to Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh having a hand in creating Czechoslovakia it seems like a must!!
How about a whole episode about some of the unique cultures that make up Pittsburgh, the history of how the Cathedral of Learning and its nationality rooms got funded, all the immigrant groups that shaped Pittsburgh back then (including the Slovaks) and add a little about some of the newer growing ethnic groups in the city like the Turks and Nepalese.
Got my pin yesterday. Thanks! The coupon in the package was already expired but not a big deal. Thanks again!
Stopped by the campaign curious about the button as well. I know I won't get the DVD's from my level (obviously) until the shows are produced... is my pin going to be on hold to go with DVD's or will it come separately before 2018 wrap up sometime? :-)
Any update on the Nebby pins?
We want the pin! Please!
NEBBY PINS! Like the previous 2 commenters, I'm anxious to get mine. Please post an update about when they will ship!
Have the NEBBY pins been mailed out? I just want to make sure to keep my eyes open for the package so it doesnt get accidently misplaced If they ahve not went out maybe a quick email when they are shipping thanks in advance
Hi, I'm eager to receive my NEBBY button, has it been sent yet? Thank you!!
Congratulations Rick, Mancini's Bakery is proud to contribute to such a great project. We have seen first hand what your programs have done for us by featuring our bakery in "Pittsburgh A to Z". We hope to pay that forward with everyone else you will touch in the making of your new shows. Nick

Rick congratulations on making the goal. I have loved your programs for a long time and can't wait for Nebby. I doubt that other similar size cities have such unique and quality programming you consistently make. I am honored to be a very small part of this project. Cheers!
Seven shows and still counting!!!! WOW! You've got what it takes, Rick. Have a great time creating the shows - you have scores of loyal fans waiting for your special treats.

Rick - Congratulations to you and your staff at reaching your goal! Looking foward to more great programming!
Rick, saw your segment on PTL today! I must say that I was bummed that Kickstarter hadn't informed me previously of your project as a Pittsburgh located project. Anyhow, so glad to be able to back your shows (something that I've always wanted to be able to do)! Good luck on getting to the stretch goal of a 7th show!
Can't wait to try the beer, too. :)
Pleased to support this great project.
By the way, since Outsiders appears to not be filming a 3rd season - so I find myself available if you need a Script Supervisor. (I know, you don't really have a script, but that's more reason that you need someone to take notes).
Congrats, Rick and everyone!
Yes, I upgraded my pledge to the DVD level so I'll get online access and a DVD!! Glad to be part of the successful campaign!!
Rick(and WQED people),
Now that the goal has been met what is going to be the stretch goal to get a 7th episode filmed?
Congratulations on reaching your goal! Woohoo!
@KB This is a good question. We're aware that there are many ways to watch TV programs these days. And we may try different things, but I'm guessing that we will try to stay in touch with all backers and stream each one of the programs for 2 or 3 days or maybe a long weekend when each one is ready. And we'll keep everyone informed about those dates. And segments from the programs may be on YouTube and/or wqed.org. But since we plan to make DVDs and downloads, we may not leave entire programs on-line for long.
And I know that many of the IT'S PITTSBURGH programs are still available on YouTube now and a good (if not complete) selection on wqed.org too. Look here: https://www.wqed.org/tv/watch/its-pittsburgh/why-do-you-live-pittsburgh
Congratulations on meeting your goal with 8 days left.
Rick, will there be a way for us to see the show around air date or will those of us not in the Pittsburgh area have to wait for DVDs or talk elderly relatives into learning to finally program their VCRs?
I'm still waiting to see all of the episodes of IT'S PITTSBURGH & A LOT OF OTHER STUFF.
As a Canadian with most of her heart still back in Pittsburgh, I am SO pleased to be the first Canadian resident to back you in this project. I am really looking forward to seeing the finished project--and I know my Canuck hubby is too, to help complete his education of being an honorary Yinzer. :)
It's always a treat when I catch your work on wqed. Happy to lend a hand to something I enjoy so much. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to these!
@WilliamNair Thanks for your vote of confidence! Your generosity is wonderful, and we're thankful. We love Pittsburghers in all 50 states! Tell your friends to join you on this campaign! Thank you again.
I now live in California, but grew up in Wilkinsburg, Pa in the late 40's till 1962 then moved west.
I wish I could help more but, being on a fixed income this is the best I could do.
Thank you very much for documenting Pittsburgh the city I love very much.
@KB Thanks for long-distance help! Much appreciated from anywhere!
Glad I can help from hundreds of miles away, Rick!
@AlisonWolfson & @EdwardComas: Thanks for your kind words! Talk up the campaign with your friends.
@MikeHolzworth We don't get your info till the campaign ends! But I'll have some buttons tomorrow (April 1) at Half-Price Books in Monroeville from 2 - 4.
(I can't see a way to DM you from here.)
@SeanSkelley All pledges are much appreciated! And I want to keep making programs as long as I can!
I wish I could give more than I did, but thank you for celebrating Pittsburgh and all it's glory!
Just wondering how / when we will be receiving physical items. Basically, when do I get my button? Thanks.
I am excited to be a Sebaker and look forward to Pittsburgh stories told only the way Rick can. Thank you, WQED, for letting all of us get our Nebby on!
Rick has done a lot for Pittsburgh, glad to do a lttle for his project. Let's all make his project a big success.
