A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. This gallery features photos, videos, and other visual documentation that will give backers a sense of what’s been accomplished so far and what’s left to do. Though the development process can vary for each project, these are the stages we typically see:

TheTigerbot is a Remote Control mulching (or side discharge) mower. The Tigerbot has a built-in HD camera that transmits to your TV. It makes mowing the grass simple and easy. In fact Grandma can do it without stepping into the hot summer air. It makes mowing the grass like a video game.
The Tigerbot has an integrated battery tender that charges and maintains the batteries for optimum performances and life. Simply plug in the standard AC cord (included) and press the charge switch. The battery charger prevents overcharging, so it can be left plugged in until it's ready to use. The Tigerbot is totally disabled during charging.
Once charged, power on the remote and press the marine grade toggle switch to the run position and you're ready to mow.
Drive the mower to your yard, once over grass, turn the blade on using your remote control, drive the mower like an RC car. The mower easily cuts through tall grass. Since it's electric it doesn't sound like a mower, more like a vacuum. It makes mowing more fun and less like a chore.
You can mow while sitting on your couch. Yes, You read that right. If your away from a TV you can use the googles to mow from anywhere.

Risks and challenges
The TigerBot Project has three challenges, Safety, Cost, and Parts availability.
Safety is our primary goal. Each machine is thoroughly tested that all primary and secondary safety measures are operating successfully.
Cost is our secondary concern. Our goal is to make affordable machines. We continually work to reduce equipment costs but will not sacrifice quality to do it. Quality parts contribute to ensuring that the machine is safe.
Waiting for parts has been a challenge. We have been forming relationships with suppliers to alleviate this issue.
