CAMPAIGN NUMBER 16
As you may have heard, sales on Mr. A. have been increasing ever since we reintroduced him onto the comics stage. Issue number 18 is already out of print and number 15 may soon join it. The earlier anniversary number 21 continues to sell very well for us and is already one of our best-sellers.
We have asked for your suggestions about our next production. Antonio J. Iriarte, Steve Replogle and many others have asked for another issue of Mr. A.
With all these requests in mind we have produced a new issue, one that will continue the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the most original name in the comics.
50 years. Mr. A. made his first appearance in Witzend no. 3, 1967.
Yes, this is something special, different. It is unique and unlike a comic featuring Batman, Betty and Veronica or the Hulk. We believe we have produced a book that is the equal of our last few releases: Mr. A. no. 21, The Hero Comics and Murder.
The new issue opens on a shocking scene you will not easily forget.
Story and art for Mr. A. no. 24 are finished and edited. All that is left is the editorial pages. This is where you come in. We will acknowledge your Pledge and support that takes us to our goal. If we can do very well this time--not just reach our goal but go well beyond-- we may be able to publish one or even two more titles at the end of the year.
We look forward to your enthusiasm and support and ask that you help us get out the word of this new production from
Snyder and Ditko
Risks and challenges
Because this work is finished there will be no difficulty in our sending it out to the printer once you have helped us reach our goal. We have been working with this printer for over ten years and are very pleased with their work.
Processing foreign orders has become more and more difficult for us so we will only be taking a few rather than many. This is unfortunate and disappointing, and we regret that it must be so, yes.
