Help 2nd Story rent the historic Bristol Statehouse to produce JB Priestley's 1945 mystery/morality play, "An Inspector Calls"
To continue its outreach to a wider audience, Warren's 2nd Story Theatre will take its show on the road to neighboring Bristol, RI to present JB Priestley's 1945 mystery/morality play in the Courtroom of the historic Bristol Statehouse.
"An Inspector Calls" is the perfect play for the historic site, an ideal marriage of script and space that will allow the walls of the 1816 Courtroom to once again ring with artistry and eloquence.
2nd Story's residency will further the non-profit Statehouse Foundation's goal to use the landmark not only as a museum, but also as a structure that plays an active role in community life.
Ticket sales are projected to cover the majority of production-related expenses - with one significant exception: Rehearsing and performing in the Courthouse from October 1 through December 2, 2012 comes with a $2,500 price tag for facility rental. Can you help us pay the rent?
