What’s TMFU? ...The Most Fucked Up? ...The Most Fabulous Unicorns? ...close...
We are THE MOST FAMOUS UNKNOWN... a post grunge indie rock band from Hamburg Germany! We are Ben (drums), Marco (bass/vocals) and Daniel (guitar/vocals). And we make music, because we love music! For us, music was never about making money, but rather a very passionate hobby. And as it goes with things you’re passionate about, they improve and we found our own unique style.
Part of the spirit is our independency and the possibility to do what we personally like most. And we stayed true to that when we started to professionalise the Band. We even founded our own label TMFU Records to stay independent. We put all our skills and a lot of effort into doing things unique and professional. We also recorded a lot and improved our studio, but couldn’t match our own expectations. So we asked Carl Albrecht for support, a friend, an awesome musician and finally the producer of our debut, who really pushed us and our music to the next level.
Now, we’ve finished recording and our first album with 10 songs is ready to be released. Find two prereleased songs here at spotify or at iTunes, Deezer etc. And to be honest... we are pretty proud of the result... it really rocks!
So far we could do everything by ourselves but the expenses of a physical release really overshoot our financial possibilities.
And here is the point... to stay independent, creatively and financially, we ask you to be part of our TMFU Family and help us share our music with the world. Be a supporter of independence and true uncompromised garage rock music!
We are planning to release on a usb tape, meaning a classic cassette, with original box and booklet, only that the cassette has a usb jack. The prototypes and booklet designs will be revealed over the course of the crowdfunding.

Wir sind THE MOST FAMOUS UNKNOWN…. eine post grunge indie rock Band aus Hamburg! Wir sind Ben (drums), Marco (bass/vocals) und Daniel (guitar/vocals). Wir machen Musik, weil wir Musik lieben! Bei unserer Musik ging es uns nie ums Geld, wir sind eher sehr leidenschaftliche Hobbymusiker. Und wie das so ist mit wirklich leidenschaftlichen Dingen, sie werden stetig besser und wir haben unseren eigenen Stil entwickelt.
Ein wichtiger Teil dessen, was wir tun, ist unsere Unabhängigkeit und die Freiheit, alles so machen zu können, wie wir es am Besten finden. Und diesem Motto sind wir immer treu geblieben, auch als wir die Band zunehmend professionalisiert haben. Um unsere Unabhängigkeit zu erhalten haben wir auch das Label TMFU Records gegründet. Wir versuchen mit unseren geballten Fähigkeiten, viel Engagement und Herzblut jeden Aspekt professionell zu gestalten. Wir haben auch unser Studio weiterentwickelt und versucht, unsere Musik so professionell wie möglich aufzunehmen. Allerdings konnten wir unseren eigenen Anspruch nicht erfüllen und haben uns dann an diesem Punkt Hilfe geholt. Diese Hilfe war Carl Albrecht, ein alter Freund, ein unfassbarer Musiker und letztendlich der Produzent unseres Debut-Albums. Carl hat uns und unsere Musik wirklich auf das nächste Level gebracht. Zwei bereits vorveröffentlichte Songs findest Du hier auf Spotify oder bei iTunes, Deezer etc. Und um ehrlich zu sein...wir sind ziemlich stolz auf das Ergebnis... es rockt!
Mittlerweile haben wir unser erstes Album mit zehn Songs komplett aufgenommen und es ist bereit für die Veröffentlichung. Bis hier konnten wir alles alleine und mit etwas Hilfe unserer Freunde bewältigen, eine richtige Veröffentlichung mit einem physischen Datenträger übersteigt allerdings unsere finanziellen Möglichkeiten.
Und damit kommen wir zu unserem Anliegen…. Um sowohl kreativ als auch finanziell unabhängig bleiben zu können, laden wir Dich ein, Teil unserer TMFU Familie zu werden und uns zu helfen, unsere Musik mit der Welt zu teilen. Werde Unterstützer von Unabhängigkeit und echtem, mit Herz gemachten Garagen-Rock!
Wir planen, unser Album auf einer USB Kassette zu veröffentlichen, das heißt auf einer klassischen Kassette mit original Hülle und Booklet, nur dass die Kassette einen USB-Anschluß hat. Während der Kampagne werden wir unsere Designs und Prototypen mit Euch teilen.

Cos'é un "TMFU"? ...The Most Fucked Up? ...The Most Fabulous Unicorns? ...quasi...
Noi siamo THE MOST FAMOUS UNKNOWN…. Una band post-grunge indie-rock, da Amburgo (Germania): Ben (batteria), Marco (basso&voce), Daniel (chitarra&voce)... e facciamo musica, perché amiamo la musica!
Per noi la musica non é mai stata una questione di soldi, ma piuttosto una semplice passione. E come succede con le cose che ti appassionano, abbiamo cercato di migliorare e creare un nostro stile unico.
Parte dello spirito é la nostra indipendenza e la possibilitá di fare quello che piú ci piace. E siamo rimasti fedeli a questa linea quando abbiamo cercato di professionalizzare la band. Abbiamo fondato la nostra etichetta TMFU Records, e mettiamo in gioco tutte le nostre competenze e tanti sforzi per fare le cose in modo unico e professionale. Abbiamo registrato molto e migliorato il nostro studio, ma non siamo riusciti a soddisfare le nostre aspettative. Quindi, abbiamo chiesto aiuto a Carl Albrecht, un amico, un grande musicista, ed in ultimo il produttore del nostro debutto, che ha veramente spinto la nostra musica al livello successivo.
Trovate due nostre canzoni giá pubblicate qui su Spotify e su iTunes, Deezer, etc... Ed onestamente, siamo molto orgogliosi del risultato... questi pezzi spaccano!
Ora abbiamo finito le registrazioni, ed il nostro primo album con 10 pezzi e' pronto per il lancio. Finora abbiamo fatto tutto da soli, ma i costi di una vera produzione vanno oltre le nostre possibilitá finanziarie.
E questo é il punto… per restare indipendenti creativamente ed economicamente, ti chiediamo di far parte della nostra famiglia, ed aiutarci a condividere la nostra musica con il mondo, e supportare la musica senza compromessi!
Stiamo programmando la pubblicazione dell'album su "cassetta usb", cioé una classica cassetta con custodia e libretto, ma la cassetta ha una chiavetta usb! I prototipi saranno rivelati lungo il corso della campagna.
