KICKSTARTER EDITION: THE INTRAPRENEUR’S JOURNEY
THE INTRAPRENEUR’S JOURNEY will be a 270-page book + a backer-only awards for new and experienced practitioners of the Lean Startup and Design Thinking principles.
ABOUT THE INTRAPRENEUR’S JOURNEY, LEAN STARTUP Co. EDITION
Perhaps the most under-utilized assets in most companies are the ideas in their employees’ heads.
Our book helps you learn three key things:
- How to tap into your employees' passion to drive growth
- How to assess your organization using our Intrapreneurship model: See how different innovation programs provide varied levels of effectiveness
- How to use our “recipe book” for going from 0 to 100 (from no innovation program to a cohesive program that effectively drives growth)
Many books have been written on how to develop an innovation culture, but our book is unique. We provide hands-on practical tools for implementing systemic change. Our Intrapreneurship Empowerment Model describes the components of an effective and sustainable internal innovation program.
How are the Kickstarter funds to be used?
If we meet our funding goal of $30,000, we’ll set new stretch goals and add cool bonus rewards for all backers at different funding levels. The more people we can get to back the campaign, the more valuable and rewarding this Lean Startup Co. publishing experiment becomes to everyone who backs it.

Any company that seeks to treat every day as "Day One" inside their company should turn to this book as the recipe for success.'

"Intrapraneurs are invaluable to any company that wants to create sustainable growth through innovation. The Intrapraneur's Journey is not just about the process of channeling and maximizing their power, complete with detailed steps and real-life examples, but the culture that supports it. Some Sneak Previews
The Intrapreneurship Empowerment Model, from our book, described:
Risks and challenges
Our plan is to work hard to meet all estimated dates for the e-book, the hardcover book, and all other backer rewards. But, it wouldn’t be shocking to hit some delays along the way, particularly in the realm of hardcover publication.
This project is a publishing experiment, a collaborative one, so we plan to keep you informed of every development along the way. As we hit, or even adjust dates for major milestones, we will let you know what is going on and why.
Most of the writing for "The Intrapreneur’s Journey" has been completed, but we plan to use the success of this Kickstarter to match us with the right published for hardcover edits, layout, formatting, and distribution. The “who and how” variables are considerable, thus the September hardcover publication date could slip.
We plan to work closely with team members to get the book printed and distributed as quickly as possible after the Kickstarter succeeds. We will, however, adhere to this wonderful African saying: “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.” We want to go far, with YOU.
In fact, we will only go with YOU, and with our publishing team. Together we will all go far to greatly improve the lives of intrapreneurial corporate citizens and their customers.
We humbly thank the innovation leaders at Intuit, IDEO, Proctor & Gamble, and the Stanford Design School (D.School) for the amazing doses of mentorship, and friendship that have made our journey possibleLearn about accountability on Kickstarter
