Most probably, considering we succeed in our campaign. Although it probably won’t be simultaneous with the PC release, you can be sure of our efforts to bring Stygian to major home platforms as well. We actually have some solid proceedings on that matter too but wanted to remain silent not to give any false hopes prematurely.
Additionally, after achieving some of our content related stretch goals you may see the consoles among our stretch goals in the following days which may guarantee some ports.
Either way, supporting Stygian on Kickstarter is also strongly supporting the game on consoles. If you also have a PC or Mac but prefer playing Stygian on your PS4 or XBOX, it may be a good idea to back the game because even if there won’t be a specific stretch goal involving that, it is very probable to see the game on those platforms in the future.
We think that our game suits the iPad platform beautifully. If time and money permits, we will definitely dedicate ourselves to this branch as well. You can see a specific stretch goal for this matter in the following days.
No. On the contrary, you'll be avoiding or running away from most of them. Stygian is not about winning. It is about enduring and reaching a certain goal. In most of the combat scenarios you'll be focusing more on wearing down the enemy to a certain point to make your escape. Considering the limited resources and the necessity of the preservation of your health and sanity, persisting to destroy all your enemies will surely result in your own obliteration.
Yes, most definitely. We are truly aiming for re-playability in the resolution of challenges and quests in Stygian. In one play-through, you will be using your Athletics skill along with a rope to enter a collapsed mausoleum, while in another one, you'll be convincing an NPC to climb down and clear the path for you, while yet in another, you will be solving that sequence of the quest by obtaining a Grappling Hook which can help you greatly if your character have low athletic capability.
Since Stygian was Greenlit on Steam, we've been approached both by interested professional individuals and private companies on the matter of language localisation of game content. With the launch of our Kickstarter, interest has escalated, and we've decided to include the localisation process as a natural part of the development of Stygian. Now we see the French, German, Spanish and Russian localisations of Stygian as a stronger possibility and decided to focus on additional content. Please contact us via message or e-mail for further information.
