Tell your friends because it's crunch time. This is what we use Kickstarter for… to spread the word when we have success! This isn't a film by Zach Braff, we were never on Network TV, and we don't have offices at Spike Lee's Upper East Side joint. We're in the Midwestern Mecca of Louisville, Kentucky and we're making movies. And here's how we sell them! Please send your friends to the following link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/pleased-to-meet-me/id848689958

And tell them all about Pleased to Meet Me. Thanks again for your support, belief, and good will.

Again, none of this would be possible without you, our Kickstarter army. But more exciting is our April 22nd iTunes Exclusive. That's right, our musical movie will now be available by the world's biggest music provider…but only for a limited time. Tell your friends, wake the neighbors, that Pleased to Meet Me, starring John Doe, Aimee Mann, and Loudon Wainwright, is coming!

And for those of you who wil be receiving Pleased to Meet Me as part of your rewards package, stay tuned. It's a prize full of goodies.

Thanks again for your support and please spread the word. This is how independent films survive…with your help.

Update #37

Change in first Theatrical Screening

So we went to do a tech check for Pleased to Meet Me today... and we did not like what we saw. The theatre was projecting in 720p and with a dim bulb. That wouldn't, won't, fly so we requested a better theatre with full HD, in order so the experience of watching our delightful film would not be diminished by technical issues. Needless to say, the Village 8 heard our concerns and addressed them promptly and professionally. SO to take advantage of a better theatre and full HD, we're moving the start date at the Village 8 to FEBRUARY 28th instead of the 21st.

It's so worth it.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but what's the point of a screening if it's not looking it's best? We'll see you on the 28th!

Oh, and PS: our VOD distributor is really paying attention to the numbers we've had thus far...and wants to talk expanded theatrical...provided we do well at the Village 8. Please...spread the word!

What an amazing past few weeks! First, for those of you who attended our special Kickstarter screening, thank you! A fabulous night! And thanks to Scott Shuffit for premiering his wonderful making of doc. We're thrilled to say that Scott's doc will be on the DVD release from Virgil Films.

Then, two weeks later…WOW! We sold out the Kentucky Center for the Arts. A huge weekend. We actually had to turn folks away, not something you want to do, but it does demonstrate the groundswell of support that is building for PTMM. Then, the next night in Lexington another huge crowd at the historic Kentucky Theatre.

Now, more good news. We were contacted by Tri-State Theatres in Cincinnati (they book theaters in midwest; Louisville, Nashville, Cincy, Chicago…) and they want a week's run at the Village 8 in Louisville. You, are Kickstarter supporters, have been with us from the beginning. PLEASE, PLEASE, spread the word. If you loved the film, see it again! If you missed it, now's your chance. Friends who couldn't make it? Now they can. We'll be there for a week and if it's successful, Tri-State will book us into more theaters. Again, thank you for all your support and let's keep Pleased to Meet Me rocking in theaters!
