Ultrasound has an important parameter, called sound intensity. It refers to the ultrasound energy of a sound beam in a unit of time and area. If the ultrasound energy is too high, it may cause biological effects (such as thermal or mechanical effect) which is harmful to human body. Therefore, ultrasound energy must be strictly controlled when it use for human body. M1 strictly follows the acoustic output requirements and standards of medical ultrasound equipment, as well as ALARA principle (i.e., As Low As Reasonably Achievable”, the lower the incident sound intensity, the better), the acoustic output is as low as 11.28 mW / cm2.According to data published by the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine (AIUM), all ultrasound-induced adverse biological effects occur at very high dose levels. Ultrasound is very safe as long as the dose of acoustic output is controlled.

Recently, celebrities shares their unborn baby photos on the Internet. An increasing number of expectant mothers taking 3D ultrasound photos to get a glimpse of the cute face of their baby.
Peoples have taken 3D ultrasound photo: mom-to-be sometimes have to wait 1 to 2 months for a 3D ultrasound photography appointment. It is often a long queue on the day of the appointment, and the doctor will allow the expectant mothers to see the 3D ultrasound image for half an hour at most. Sometimes it only can show the side face of the baby, mom-to-be only can wait to see the full face in the next visit. I am in the week 23 of my pregnancy. For me, a 3D ultrasound camera was indeed a novelty. M1 was very easy to operate as I just spent few minutes to lean how to use it after reading the user manual. Following the instruction, I downloaded the app to my mobile phone and completed the registration, then connect M1 with my phone. When the devices were ready, I applied the coupling gel provided by the Manufacturer on my belly. I got the black and white cross-section image. I moved the M1 to find the baby, then I saw the tiny head of my baby and I was so excited and happy. When I got the best position, I clicked the button to take photo and a cute face of my baby appeared.
