Saddled with their own insecurities, hopes and ambitions, Undecided chronicles the experiences of Zuri, Cameron and Alexis as they journey through college.
From juggling classes to relationships, picking majors and parties, the friends come face to face with the whirlwind of unending choices that come along with college life.
As they discover the rewards and challenges of their new independence, these 3 friends have 4 years to figure it all out at Southern State University.
WHY THIS SERIES?
To put it simply, there is nothing out today that tells these stories. We saw that something was missing and rather than just complaining, did something about it. We need a series that depicts the honest and authentic stories of people that look like us, talk like us, and share our journeys. Our generation is so full of living vicariously through the filtered lives of others on social media. Our aim is not to create a show that is just about race, not just about PWIs vs. HBCUs, not about the haves and have not’s, but it will be a collection of stories rich with choices, lessons, emotions and intimate experiences. We are interested in telling REAL, interesting, unique stories in the subtleties of everyday life in college. From meeting your best friend in Calculus class, to pulling your first all nighter. These are stories we all can relate to - potential college attendees, current students, and alumni. This will be a series for the people, by the people. We plan to tour colleges and communities and discuss episodes/relevant topics.
SO WHATS THE DEAL?
We've shown you the premise, look and feel of the show with the above concept trailer. The trailer was produced and financed independently by our producer, and filmed with the help of our talented cast and crew last summer. Everyone worked for almost free because they believed in our vision, but we need your help to seed production on the first season. Join the rest of the cast and crew to bring this project to life. We plan to film this summer, and are looking at about 10 episodes at 10 minutes each. The more money raised, the longer episodes can be! We are currently finishing up the script for season one and will use funds raised for:
Production Equipment (cameras, grip and electrical, sound, etc.)
Production Design (props, wardrobe, set design)
Craft Services (Food on set)
Post Production & Editing

Risks and challenges
We've spent most of this past year developing Undecided. From filming and editing the trailer to carefully creating our characters and their individual backstories, we have taken our time on every detail. Filmmaking is difficult, and multiple hurdles can interfere with getting a project completed. We will be sure to be transparent with the community about all challenges such as:
Shipping dates: Based on our research, the perks you select should be shipped by the date specified, if for some reason the manufacturing process is delayed we will update you ASAP.
Episode/Season delivery: Many factors can cause our episodes to be delayed. Shooting dates can be pushed back because of weather or locations being unavailable. Actors and crew members schedules have to be coordinated. Sometimes footage has to be reshot. However, we have been working and continue to plan ahead to mitigate as many risks as possible.
Again, we saw a void and decided to do something about it. This series will get made by any means necessary.
HONOR SOCIETY: Join us on set for one day of filming! Work in either of our production departments and ask all of the questions you'd like. Or just sit back and enjoy exclusive behind the scenes while meeting cast and crew. (Transportation to filming city/location not included)
