That was a fast response, thank you ;)
You made a great game with "Legends of Eisenwald" and I look forward to a more sandboxy scenario. I really missed that kind of playstyle in the original game (I lingered far too long on certain maps *gg*) so: You rock!
Hendrik, it's very easy to update credits section for us! I will do that today. I will also send you a key (I don't think you got it since we looked only at surveys I believe but I will double check).
Ok apparantely my Mail-Programm decided to put the kickstarter Mails (All but the final one d'oh) in my Junk Folder.
So I just got Update Number 13 and fished the other 12 out of the Abyss. I did answer the survey now (though it may be a little late)
As the Game is already released I figure that my Survey Answers on the name to be included in the credits is forfeit, but I didn't get the code for the game either and I was hoping for that one at least.
So, what is the way to go about this?
Also, anyone who is a fan of X-com / Fallout style turn-based tactical RPGs, please check out "Vigilantes " which is currently being funded here on KS.
Since GOG has yet to confirm Blood of November will be available there, I created a GOG wishlist. I figure it cannot hurt:
If you have a GOG account please take a second and vote for it.
Alright, cool! 2016 has been a very slow year for RPGs on PC (with almost everything I backed or am interested in getting pushed back to 2017) so it's great that at least one RPG I'm looking forward to is coming out this year.
Dave, it will be version 1.0. We have been testing it for over a month already while incrementally adding a few smaller features, no need for Early Access.
@Aterdux: When you say you're planning to release the game at the end of October, is this release to be an "Early Access" / Beta version or will that be considered version 1.0?
Alex, we will start sending out rewards next week already!
Jan, we are waiting for Stripe to finish processing payments and will send out surveys as soon as it's done. Supposedly it takes 14 days and it's past that but no notifications yet. I think another day or two.
Were the surveys sent already?
Hey guys just wanted to say I'm excited to see & play the game! Looking forward to my Duke edition of the game! <3
Robert, we started testing already and we work on English localization. We wait for Kickstarter to process all payments (should be done Tuesday) and then we will send out keys for Legends of Eisenwald and we will start physical rewards shipping. For Blood of November we got an app id from Steam, started work on making a Steam page and build configuration. Things look good and we are on schedule to release the game at the end of October.
Any updates concerning release of keys or just general news?
Hope all is going well guys and can't wait to see what you produce this time round.
Congratulations Aterdux !!!
Hope that there will many more projects in the future :)
Zachary, we do our best and we love helping and talking to you all!
Reece, thank you!
Didn't know about this until there was 9 minutes to go. I pledged. Congrats!
Congrats on getting the project funded! I'm happy to support it in my small way. The first game was great, and your support of it was exemplary. I was particularly impressed by your close contact with players on forums and your responsiveness to post-release requests and queries. If only more developers had your sense of professionalism!
Horath, random map generation would be great but unfortunately rather hard to do. But maybe someday we will be able to do it.
Congrats, glad this got funded! Looking forward to a more sandboxy version of Legends of Eisenwald, that was the one thing I missed when I played the game. I was really happy when they gave Heroes of Might and Magic 3 a random map generator, because even though that game had a huge amount of scenarios at some point you are through all of them and then a random map is a godsend. All the best!
Flump - the flying turtle, to get enough attention for a smaller project is always harder so we were expecting some difficulties. But we were pretty sure we can do it!
will_sss, RSF thank you!
Congratulations on being funded. I just had to come in and throw in a little support to you guys for this second project. All the best!
Congratulations on making it guys!
I haven't played the original game but I heard good things about it; a bit surprise that the response was so slow given your target budget and the general reviews of the original game. Not sure what is going on - lack of awareness but I wish you overall success once the game is made with regards to awareness and sales.
Zerotown, thank you! Will Collins - thank you so much! I was going to bed already hoping it was going to be funded when I wake up here :) But it happened so fast, wonderfully crazy day today!
Wasn't going to back it as much as I did but it looked to good and I had to push it over the line :)
Upped my pledge a bit... This deserves to get made :)
Garkham, these are the same dvds as in the first campaign :)
David, yes, definitely, it's a key that can be used by anyone.
Anastazia, that would be great for sure!
If every backer could increase their pledge by $2 it would help... but going to be very close!
I already have Legends of Eisenwald. Would I be able to gift the $12 game to a friend?
So let me be (physically :D) part of your team for the second time guys. Hope the DVD engraving will be as epic as the last one ! ;)
Upped my pledge, want this to get funded.
We would be happy with anything over $12000 :)
This is going to end veeeery close...
http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/1684781151/eisenwald-blood-of-november/#chart-exp-projection As always Kicktraq projections are a day behind / should be taken with a big grain of salt.
Still, I think it is safe to say this project will very likely reach it's goal and hopefully a bit more for extra polishing / "emergency" funds.
But man, I'm surprised more backers from the first campaign haven't returned. Seems a lot of people have sworn off crowdfunding because of disappointments. But LoE wasn't one of them.
Hmm. Well, I want to see this, so let's toss some money in the pot...
MadBeard, for this new game you won't need 50 hours :)
Thank you very much :)
Good luck with KS.
Now I can start to play again LoE. I completely forgot about it due to my lack of free time and my enormous back log :)
juanval, thank you. Blood of November is an independent story.
I like the idea of paying small amounts for new campaigns. Good luck with the KS campaign ;)
I'd like to ask you if events and characters of Legends of Eisenwald are connected with Blood of November, or if BoN is an independent story. Thanks in advance
MadBeard, yes, you can gift base game to anyone you like - you will receive a key and it's up to you what to do with it. And yes, Road to Iron Forest is included only in Infantry tier (added this one today by request), and where Season Pass is.
Hi there. Congratulations for another kickstarter. Unfortunately I was late for the first one, but here I am now :)
I have couple of questions if you'd be kind to answer.
I have base game on steam. For now I pledged for Pikeman tier (E: BoN plus LoE). Is it possible to gift code for base game to my friend?
Another question: Road to Iron Forest is included only in Infantry tier and those that have Season pass?
Is my reasoning OK or I confused something?
Yes, indeed, combinations with a gift here might be a bit tricky :) You can't gift the season pass alone since it requires the base game, Legends of Eisenwald. So, Knight's Edition must be combined with the season pass for one person, and the key to E: BoN for another. Not exactly straightforward though.
Thanks for the fast answer, though that makes it even harder to decide if I want to up my pledge to $25 from $12 :)
Potkeny, sorry if it's not very clear but $25 tier has indeed 2 copies of E: BoN. One copy by itself and one copy contained in the season pass.
I'm confused, I read the "Knight of Eisenwald" ($25) tier as having 2 copy of E:BoN, so I can potentially "sell/gift" one to a friend. It has both "copy of the game" and "season pass (includes three items, including this game)" written in the description. Did I misread it?
Wisdom, DRM-free is not so much a stand, it's common business sense these days - GOG is huge and no reason to miss out this market. But yes, we like DRM-free as well :)
Pledged in appreciation to your DRM-Free stand. Keep up the good work, really enjoyed your first one as well.
Over 200 backers already, wonderful, thank you everyone and welcome!
Thanks Dave! I wrote already RPGWatch folks and it's great their maintenance is finally over.
